For some reason black guys are often the ones that don't survive in most horror movies whether slasher or not.

Predator aliens have hair that resembles dreadlocks.

In slasher movies the person you least suspect to be the killer is the killer.

Movies don't create psychos they make them more creative if I recall right the quote from the first scream.

One I just noticed recently....

After you uncover a diabolical plot to destroy the company/country/world, if you go to your trusted immediate superior to inform him/her and he/she asks "have you told anyone else?" Then chances are they are behind the whole thing.

So it's best to tell someone outside of the government, company, etc.

Mud is a way to camouflage yourself from the alien hunters known as Predators.

A corrupt cop that intimidates or coerced you into using a illegal drug is the worst case scenario as it's leverage.

A great injustice is to not fight for those that can't fight for themselves.

If you time travel plus alter anything in the past it's going to result a different present including one that could be vastly different.
Also you can die if you alter that your parents meet which is logical because you were created by your parents.

A enemy that is a killer in the FBI would be execrable. This from the great movie Mind Hunters.

Its very common for aliens to come to Earth with the goal of the destruction of humans.

You keep pointing out specific things that have happened in one movie or one series of movies. This thread is about things you typically see in several movies, even ones that aren't related to each other, that simply aren't true in real life.

I do believe the last one i said is common in movies.

For some reason villains can endure cartoon style damage that should have killed them.

Villains are known for saying they won't do something specific that is harmful but is proven hollow with still doing it and the common I lied.

Snakes are either villains or usually used as something negative by villains.

Once again you seem to be at a misunderstanding. Villains don't exist in real life. This is about things that are portrayed as being possible in real life when truthfully they don't work out that way.

You have a point as well..,

So the thread isnt necessarily about repetitive cliches (although it covers that too) but things that should be based in reality.

In the Jurasic Park example, if we changed the word "Dinosaur" to "Elephant" it would still apply.

There ya go. Exactly. That's what I think firestorm is struggling with.

Hey btw sorry for the delay on that picture. We still want it done but my wife has been trying to feel out her friend's attitude towards the situation. Apparently she's still in "I can't talk about it because I'll cry" mode so it's still probably too soon to have a picture made for her. I haven't forgotten though. We're going to get it done, just not sure when.

A person mistakenly accussed of a crime or crimes they didnt commit is proven innocent in a short period of time as in under a week.

This could happen in the real world but most often it's years which could be up to a decade, or decades for which a person is proven innocent.
