People don't care about the name, it's the farce of stating, i know that you and everyone else knows i am a biological male, but please i am dressing up as a woman, and want you to believe and call me a woman...it's simply a delusional lie and it's dumb to believe other people should be forced to say the emperor has clothes when he/she/it doesn't

From my limited experience I would say the issue is the over reactions. "Its ma'am!" Its not a correction, it's a full on reprimand which has lead to legal action in some cases.

the overreaction is an issue I agree. Everyone should get a couple of passes. However if I start addressing every male in the office as ma'am I'm also going to get to visit HR. We all know there are some who will do it just to upset people. I have little patience for those in a professional environment

It is that simple though. For people like you, it's some form of acceptance and it precludes your willingness to express butthurt.

I personally believe that a great majority of these folks are using this as a vessel to contort the world around them simply because they can, but you know what? It doesn't conjure much effort on my part to just refer to the person formerly known as Janine as Jim, and use "dude" or "sir" instead of "ma'am."

This is just a really ****ing dumb hill for you guys to die on. Harangue me for it all you want, but guess which one of us is *actually* dealing with fewer inconveniences and sacrificing zero effort.

Once again, you understand nothing. Going along just to get along is really rather politically correct, nice to do and something that I do in any social setting. But where I work, we have been trained twice now this year and it's not because our company gives two ***** about these people and their social maladjustments, it's because they are afraid of a lawsuit from these people if they don't train. Give it a rest Dink, I don't ever lead with hey your are gay or hey you got women's clothes on, I call people what they want to be called but refuse to get into the xi's and what the **** evers that they want to make up. It's abnormal, it isn't normal, the people that are honestly genetically effected by these issues are mutants. Period. No amount of societal argument can make it any thing else. NONE. You can call me all the names you can come up with because that is simply where your argument goes because you, in reality, have nothing left to stand on. In general, in my company, we don't have the flamboyance that you see elsewhere, and when confronted by something like a choice of getting in a longer line at a register rather than have to face someone who is obviously male but is dressing and wearing makeup to look female, I will take the longer line. It is my way of compensating and tolerating them doing them. BUT, on the other hand, I shouldn't be castigated for getting in that longer line like many of the SJW snowflakes like you want to do.

There is a reason that it is zero effort on your part but some effort on other's parts. We don't believe or have the lack of beliefs the same way you do. You are free to go through life just getting by and letting **** roll off. In HR, I've worked at companies that had trans women. The trans women wanted us to use she/her, which we all did. I've never worked with someone who wanted to use the non-gender specific pronouns and I do not know how that would be received. I would encourage people to use them if that is what the employee wanted.

For years I have advocated creating and using non-gender specific pronouns that would eliminate all the he/shes and him/hers in corporate writing. At the time, I never thought about applying a non-gender pronoun to non-binary gender people.

What are the restroom/locker room accommodations? It’s not just about making one or two people comfortable and fifty uncomfortable. Does the company actually recognize the person as their preferred gender or actual gender?

No what makes me extremely disappointed in this country, are flag waivers like you that can't let me handle things the way I want. You want them handled the way you want. That is the crux of your quandary. You claim to be indifferent but then can't help yourself telling someone else what they are doing wrong. You need to learn to practice what you preach. That comes with getting older, not maturity because I think you are probably mature but with simple life experience and I don't care how much experience you care to claim, you haven't seen as many years in this world as I have. I don't give two ***** about how many countries you've been too or how many different species you've had sex with, or how many drugs you've taken that's not the experiences I am talking about. You will understand one day.....or, maybe you won't.
