I'm pretty sure we will land more playerS. Now, will they be splashy i don't know but i think the coaches know there are certain needs that have to be addressed. Also, the more i think about it the more I think the Ace pick up is going to benefit us. She is a culture kid who will run through a brick wall to help so she won't hurt us.

I am with everyone else in that a player like Coulibaly would def move the needle but i think we have the pieces here to be pretty good. Anymore and i think it takes us to the next tier if it's the right pieces.

I’ve played basketball at a pretty high level so I know how that works with next man up, all I want is a solid Horston replacement that can be the number 2 option we can count on, I don’t think it’s a good idea to go by committee. We can have a dynamic duo and let the role players do their job and on occasion have a breakout game from time to time.

i think we are all on the same page about this. A good scorer would be nice but the sky isn’t going to fall if we don’t get one. Still plenty of time to go before this roster is complete. don’t freak out yet

We actually need Coulibaly to put us on the same level as last season, which is sweet 16 with a chance for an elite 8 with the right matchup, now if we get her and Donarski I think we would have a chance for a final four.

I’m not freaking out but getting nervous, because almost all the elite players are off the board and we didn’t get any of them, we did get a good player and another role player but that’s it. I just want this part to be over so I can go into hibernation until the season starts.

It would be nice to have her but if we evolve we can have a different successful team. I get it you're stuck on these players but i'm not. But multiple teams with one star made it to the elite 8 and final four last year. If we land them great if not can't cry over it. I hope we get players that help us play good team ball and get us further. But i get what you are saying :)

HVL is following coaches and players all she I’ve been monitoring her friends also three different sources I follow on twitter are pretty positive that she would be joining three sources follows Reese and several other lady tigers on twitter.

While you are panicking about what Jillian can do, the return of Tamari Key Sucks in Defenses. You may not believe it, but Tamari's impact on the offensive is huge even if she is only getting 10.5 points per game. The players that is guarding our perimeter players have to make a decision to play them straight up or help off to help in the paint. This will be advantageous for all of our shooters as well as for Rickea, Karo, and Jill as well. You cant double everyone. Tamari's size alone forces teams to double and triple team in the paint leaving a lot more space on the perimeter. Jill and Karo will have a field day 15-18 feet out because they can both Shoot and pass the ball pretty efficiently from there and I would assume the players guarding them will play off to help with Tamari. Don't believe it, go back and watch how SEC teams guarded Tennessee Tamari's Sophomore year. We did not have the shooting ability two years ago that we will have this upcoming season.

I’m not panicking about Jillian, I think she has all the tools. The only player worth doubling is Rickea in my opinion, if u stop her we will struggle. Yes most times Key will be the tallest player on the floor but she doesn’t play big or strong, if she fixes certain things about her game like catching passes, making layups, commanding position, going up strong and keeping the ball high so guards don’t snatch it out of her hands, if she does all those things she can be a force in the paint, but let’s see if she can put all those things together.

I think Kellie may certainly want/need a huge pickup at the guard position, but maybe, just maybe she likes the experience and cohesion of her returning players (who will be upperclassman as well). Maybe she doesn’t want to recruit over players who know the system and is really waiting for 2024. We will have plenty of talent. Enough to beat LSU or SC? Will be tough but stranger things have happened. We are certainly not in “sky falling mode” with our current team which seems to be the obsession of several posters. They will have a solid team on the floor each night. In fact, I think we will be a much better team next year for the reasons stated above. Even without Horston.

Even with the addition of those two players, South Carolina is still a 3rd place team in the SEC this upcoming season. Mark this post and mark my words. Unfortunately, Kim Mulkey is going to do to the SEC what she did to the Big 12 and she did it very quickly. If she gets Van Lith with this incoming freshman class and their returners, it's over:(
