Not at all. You’re just super negative towards Tennessee and after all you are on our site.
Pivot is expressing his/her opinion. That is still okay here right? We don’t have to agree with it, which most of us don’t, but we should foster a board where everyone has the opportunity, whether they’re a fan or not, to voice their opinions.
I mean, we’ve given Darth the mic and floor for several years here so hey!
No i like having good conversation on here but when u repeat the same thing every post and only tear tennessee down it gets old. We get enough of that from our own fan base.Pivot is expressing his/her opinion. That is still okay here right? As an example, you said they would lack height, and yet they will be the tallest team next season in the SEC…..****, your “real basketball analysis” isn’t worth squat.Do what you may, but I provide real basketball analysis regardless of being liked or agreed with. I have nothing personal against Tennessee but like I said previously there isn’t balance between the playing styles of the players on the roster. And where did SC come from? The topic is Tennessee. You seem to go out of your way to make me notice the fact that you’re trying to be pessimistic about SC. It’s okay lol. We clearly will have to agree to disagree. Everyone has opinions I’m just expressing mines.
Yeah, guess what the **** stood for 09…rhymes with luck…..You have to call BS when you see it, no matter where it comes from, he said UT will lack “elite height” lol.. Nobody can make this stuff up unless they are clueless. Just the players that can play in a post position….It’s a cockfight!
So basically none of you think that Jill or Carolyn striplin will be much improved this upcoming season over last season? Ask any women's basketball trainer in the country and they will tell you, it takes at least 2 years to get girls high school players up to near their athletic potential out of high school, sometimes longer. Basically Jill was sick or injured her whole freshman year at Georgia and Carolyn didn't see the court. So if TK comes back that's a plus but we do have solid post who can actually step out to the 3-point line and shoot the ball. How many fours and fives around the SEC are going to come out and guard a four or a five at the three-point line? Heck Jill can put it on the floor and get to the rim at that. Nearing the end of last season Jill looked amazing in the paint and her footwork is better than most in the league. Remember, Jill was an All-American out of high school, loves the game of basketball, and has aspirations to play pro. That makes me think she is working her behind off this year in the off season to get stronger and to continue to improve. At this point, imo, it's all on how effective Key will be. If she's back to her Jr year, than UT is better. If not, than about the same.
Just like everybody had powell starting this year over Walker; Powell will start over Wells next year. You heard it here first mark my words. Powell had one of the best assists to turnover ratios in the SEC last year and has a year under her belt at Tennessee. Kelly's going to go with who she knows and trusts. Depending on their playing, Wells may start later into the season but we won't see that right off the bat.So having Wells and Spear at the two guard spots and Jax at the shooting 3 spot with Key at the 5 and Hollingshead at the 4 is not balanced? I don’t see your point tbh. Probably the tallest roster in the SEC, and 3 of the best shooters also. What am I missing? Have you seen the career stats from Spear and Wells? They can fill up the 3’s, Jax is best mid range shooter in the SEC and Key is all of 6’7, Holl is 6’4, what is not balanced?
That roster, imo, puts players like Puckett, Striplin, Darby etc in complimentary roles, where they belong imo, and will be great depth now that they are very experienced. Then there is Strickland and Powell, both of whom will contribute. Lot of balance in my eyes, but maybe I’m just not as smart as you are.
Interesting perspective, not casting doubt on it, just saying interesting to say the least.Just like everybody had powell starting this year over Walker; Powell will start over Wells next year. Another reason for that is Kelly needs offensive production off of the bench. She has to have someone or a couple players who can come in and put immediate pressure on defenses. Wells shooting and scoring ability will help in that aspect at both the 1 & 2 spot. It's just a feeling I have with watching Kellies rotations the last 2 years. She said it multiple times she doesn't care who starts as long as everyone's role is well defined. On a positive note in the one two and three spots she's got either seniors or graduate seniors playing those positions this year. She's going to be able to mix and match experience all game long.Interesting perspective, not casting doubt on it, just saying interesting to say the least.

TK: 6-7
JH: 6-4
RJ: 6’2
Strip: 6’3
Puck: 6’2
SC is close to even, two tallest teams in SEC
Cardoso 6’6
Watkins 6’3
Feagin 6’3
Kitts 6’2
Walker 6’5
Saying UT will lack elite height is such a joke, can’t take anything serious from this poser now. Not a mis-type, “POSER”. Say it like it is, Pivot is talking out of his azz. Embarrassment to my team fan club.
If you want to talk advantage at each spot, I give SC the advantage at 5 spot with Cardoso above Key. After that, RJ is a big advantage over either Watkins or Feagin at this point in time. Then the JH comparison to either Watkins or Feagin has to go to JH until proven otherwise. That is 2 to 1 in the post for UT. Then we Nit pick whether Raven and PaoPao are better or equal or less than Wells and Spear. You tell me Nostradamus.
I will throw this out there however, UT has nothing like a Fulwiley on their bench waiting to explode, she is potentially an ace in the hand, she might be very special and break into the lineup sooner than later and she is an X factor, but raw as hell and will maybe take considerable time to get to the level where she dominates, which she will at some point, it’s a matter of time.
Like I said before, SC is in a rebuild mode this year after losing all 5 starters and 7 seniors. 2024 might be special for them though.
Who's holding their breath for 1 last final recruit from the transfer portal tomorrow? Tomorrow is the last day that players can enter the portal, right? Are they allowed to sign with teams following the 11th?
Last day to enter the portal still players already in the portal that haven't sign can still sign long up to when a team will accept them. I figure that would be before the summer semester started you would want to complete your roster. The only other option would be the Grad Transfer who can sign anytime and join the team anytime would still be eligible for next season all the way up until the season began. Still a few quality players that haven't signed with anyone, but a few of them had problems at their other school so don't know who will be willing to accept them. Still a few deciding with no problems.Who's holding their breath for 1 last final recruit from the transfer portal tomorrow? Tomorrow is the last day that players can enter the portal, right?
