I think it more so just has to do with the fact that no one that’s about to play their last year of football with any sort of production is going to come here to be 3rd on the depth chart. I’m honestly surprised they were able to find anyone to agree to it (possibly) at all.

Is Kentucky really going to offer much more than us? Even if that was the case, it doesn't make sense to me. It would have to be substantially more money.

Becuase otherwise, playing at Tennessee, in our offense with Nico at QB has a much higher chance at succeeding and getting you drafted.

He tried to renegotiate with Tennessee for a higher price because he knew we had depth problems. Was probably hearing from other schools and thought things would be different than this.

I should have also said the chance to play LT. That's actually the #1 reason probably.
