Trump’s destruction of America continues post presidency

I do. I think it would increase voter turnout and force candidates to focus on more states.

No candidate would ever go to the Dakotas, Wyoming, Alaska, and many other states.

Popular vote is a terrible idea because it is a cornerstone of us being a republic and installs majority rule. Not worth arguing over though. The constitution would have to be amended in order for this to happen, just like DC statehood.

We obviously disagree.
The high density areas of low density states still dictate as much as high population states would dictate low population states.
It would depend on the high density areas’ share of total population. Regardless, California, NY and Florida will often vote differently than WVa, Tennessee, and Wyoming.

I agree, not worth arguing over.
Majority vote already dictates state and local.
Majority vote already dictates how a state casts their electoral votes.
Population density already dictates where a candidate campaigns, even in the smallest of states.

In all fairness to Luther, the 17th amendment pretty much ended our Republic form of government.

But they (as Hillary found out) have to work the flyover and smaller states to win them.
She didn't realize it was purple. Her bad. But it proves my point. Look at how Trump approached CA and NY. Look at how Biden approached OK and MS.

lol....Give it a rest.
The American people selected Clinton. The electoral college elected Trump.
Just stop with the claim that Trump was the choice of the American people - it's simply not true.
I would not have 2 states populations deciding for the country. That’s what you are advocating.

It's really not what I am advocating for in the least.
What you said is no more true than saying Nashville and Memphis decide everything for the state of TN.
It's simply not true.

What the electoral college essentially says is that votes from Hancock Co. TN should count 3 times more than votes from Davidson Co. TN.

Or viewed from another perspective, the 17th amendment allowed for the continuation of our Republic form of government.

It’s exactly what you’re advocating. Just like there’s a reason why California and NY are blue. Hell even your own state is a perfect of example of why we shouldn’t do what you advocate.

I hope the CNN was joking, I didn't watch the broadcast. I may not like Trump, but blaming him for Will Smith's behavior is beyond a stretch.

Will this ever end? Just how much damage did he actually do? Will we ever recover?
These are the questions we as Americans need to ask.

Last night, because of Donald Trump, the national treasure that is Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage in front of everyone. As CNN analyst Asha Rangappa rightly points out, this is Trumps fault!

Oh how long until America recovers. When will we get back to normal? When I ask!!!

CNN analyst blames Trump for aftermath of Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars incident

Not if you keep giving them clicks and attention for it.

Trump brazenly asks Putin to release dirt about Biden's family

In a new interview published Tuesday, former President Donald Trump called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to release any damaging information he has about the Biden family, in a brazen request for domestic political assistance from America's top adversary.
It's the latest example of Trump's willingness to solicit and embrace domestic political help from foreign powers -- even from Putin, who is currently overseeing a bloody war against Ukraine.
In an interview with JustTheNews, Trump pushed an unproven claim about Hunter Biden's business dealings in Russia, and asked Putin to release any information that he might have about the situation. It's not clear that any material exists, or if the Kremlin has access to it.
"I would think Putin would know the answer to that," Trump said, referring to Hunter Biden's potential dealings in Russia. "I think he should release it. I think we should know that answer."
While Putin is at it, he should release whatever KGB documents they have on Oswald's time in Minsk.
