Trump and Money Laundering

It's not his cash. He's laundering it for someone else. I think that's the idea.
So you’re basically saying Trump is Joe Pesci’s character (Leo Getz) from Lethal Weapon 2 at the same time he’s POTUS (the most powerful man in the world)

Did you read that before you posted it?

Yes. Did you read the following paragraph?

The Trump Organization’s Business Credit Score

According to Nav, The Trump Organization, Inc.’s business credit score is a 19 out of 100 as of Sept. 23, 2016, which puts it below the national average score by more than 30 points. The Nav report said the score indicates the Trump Organization “is very likely to default on its credit payments” and that “this will make it difficult to get financing.” It puts Trump’s Organization in a “medium-to-high risk” category.

It's just an affiliate ad. That article originally ran on credit.com.

About the most telling thing I got out of it is that the Trump Org routinely paid an account 2-3 weeks past the due date.
That really doesn't say much. Tons of businesses settle accounts bi-monthly or monthly if no late fees or penalties are incurred.

This article originally appeared on Credit.com.

Christine Giordano is an editor and reporter for Credit.com who covers a variety of personal finance topics. Prior to joining us, Christine wrote for The New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, Harper’s Bazaar, Newsday and many other publications. A former staff writer for the New York Times Company,

I clicked the link to see how the Nav report was filed. After tons of ➡Click Here, I'm of the conclusion it's a nothing burger.

It said either 72% or 78% of businesses don't know their business credit score.

So of the approximately 25% of businesses whom are even aware of their Nav compiled business credit score, how many of them even actually utilize it?

I don't see how this article, which is more realistically an affiliate link, substantiates or discredits embezzlement allegations.

"...Early promotional materials for Aberdeenshire carried what purported to be the Trump clan’s baronial crest—three lions under an armored fist brandishing a spear and surrounded by a flourish of red and white feathers.

It was, no surprise, a fake. Trump had cribbed the coat of arms from Joseph Edward Davies, whose wife had built Mar-a-Lago and who had legitimately been granted the crest in the 1930s. He had made only one minor change, erasing the Davies family motto of “integritas” (integrity) and replacing it with “Trump.” He had used the doctored crest for years to peddle all sorts of products—from ties to beach towels—and it was plastered across his US properties."

LMAO. Classic Trump... and how ironic to replace "integrity" with "Trump". Assclown extraordinaire.

"Reilly says Trump ruined any chance of getting the British Open with his racist and sexist conduct. “Of all the people in the world that aren’t going to put up with a fool, it’s the Scots,” he says. “They’re just such a no-nonsense people and they see him for what he is: He’s a big blowhard con man who is trying to tell them what they know isn’t true.”

Neither one of you gave an explanation of how Trump could have done it or most importantly, named who he was laundering money for.
The proper authorities are investigating it. Sorry, they haven't told me anything. So, are we supposed to make up a hypothetical to appease you in the meantime? Read it to you like a nite nite story perhaps.

Nah, but if you are going to advance that theory or buy into it, you gotta give me more than a link to money laundering 101... At least point out who the players are and present a motive and a means.

The motive and means are self explanatory.

We don't "gotta" give you jack. If you disagree, disprove us. We aren't your friends, but Google can be.

How would I disprove something when none of you have given the parties involved, the motive or the means?

Just like in court, the burden of proof is on the prosecutor. You all are the ones making the charge of money laundering, not me.

Actually someone posted an article about his golf club being investigated for possible money laundering and you want us to give you more information that we don't have. I know you wanted two scoops but you only get one. We don't have to prove "Jack" to you.

You all have been buying into hypothetical BS for 4 years now. Why not go ahead and make up your own?

I didn't claim to have specifics. You responded to my post that said a) the Brits were investigating something that happened before he was president and 2) these kinds of allegations have been swirling around him for years (one example, he allegedly paid way over market for concrete to build Trump Tower). If you want to dispute it, dispute it.

I don’t think the burden of proof lies with the defense. We have plenty of lawyers around here to help you understand if needed.
