I prefer comedy shows that are actually funny. I haven’t seen one in years. Most of today’s “comedians” are completely intolerable

Here's what I don't understand.......Liberals generally do not believe in creationism, i.e. that we humans were made in the image of God. They believe in evolution, and that we have evolved from other primates. Why is it then that they should be upset that a human (the great ape) resembles other apes, if that is where we came from?

Furthermore, RB tried to make a funny. A very goofy attempt at it and likely not realizing the racial undertones of what she did. It was murky as to the racial intent, but she paid the price damn near immediately.

Enter Samantha Bee who has zero gray area in what she said. It was entirely vulgar and leaves no room for possible misinterpretation. And what has happened so far?

Zero except losing a couple of sponsorship ads on the show.

If the liberal side of the equation wants that equality thing, they should be going after Bee with pitchforks in hand and torches ready to burn her at the stake. But all we're getting is a "meh" out of them and even (as seen above) rationalization of her words.

There are words to describe such actions. It's called ****ing hypocrisy.

Situations like this and the Press Correspondents Dinner are the reason people are not trusting of the media nor of the left in general. Even a blind person can see the blatant hypocrisy in the left's actions and words.

You think there's going to be a "blue wave" in November? Not so long as they both continue to do things like this.

Yes, I knew she was black. The alt right websites had been spreading conspiracy theories about her for several years.

Goofy joke? Murky as to intent? GTFOH with that nonsense. Now who is rationalizing? Fire Bee. IDGAF. Let the free market work in both cases.

Why should the liberals be screeching to have Bee fired? The conservatives are doing that while remaining silent on or rationalizing RB's words. The hypocrisy abounds on both sides.

Yeah, goofy joke that very potentially wasn't racial in nature. It's a simple concept. Which part you aren't grasping is beyond me. Does RB have a history of racial jokes? Not to my knowledge and I'm darn sure someone would have reported it by now.

Now, the problem is, it's going to take overwhelming pressure to fire Bee. Why? Because she went against a conservative and the left just DGAF.

Had someone like, I don't know, Candace Owens called Malia Obama a feckless c**t and told her to talk to her father over this or that, her time in the spotlight would be OVER almost immediately and the media would go to the ends of the world to castigate her at every opportunity. And remind everyone for months on end it happened.

Roseanne knew she was black. She sent a very similar tweet about Susan Rice in 2013 who is also a light skinned African-American.

All speech should be allowed, no matter how distasteful, out of line, rude, real or not. Say what you mean and mean what you say, and don't back track or cow tow to pressure. Own it, and own any and all reactions good, bad, or indifferent. Be prepared to fight, or even, die for the words that come out of your mouth, or else don't speak.

Now, isn't it amazing the back tracking and apologizing for the things that are said, as if they didn't mean it, and to apologize for that is worse than the things actually being said. This is why I have come to really dislike the libs and left, they talk, but, then are willing to so quickly apologize for their feelings and words while not being serious about it or remorseful just done out of pressure and worry and self preservation. That's the pathetic part, people who obviously don't have the conviction or grit to stand by their real intentions of words used.

And not saying this doesn't happen on the other side of the aisle as well. But, proportionally, much worse from the left.
