So, you're telling me TBS knew who was going to win the election in February?
Your words about the sitting President, not mine.
She was hired for her anti GOP political views, to attack the primary contenders and certainly any potential Republican victor. This is her job and she does it well.
I kind of surprised and disappointed in your line here, you're better than this.

Am I?
Did you know Valerie Jarrett was black before this happened? Did the majority of Americans? I know I didn't.
Did you even know who Valerie Jarrett was before this happened?
Furthermore, RB tried to make a funny. A very goofy attempt at it and likely not realizing the racial undertones of what she did. It was murky as to the racial intent, but she paid the price damn near immediately.
Enter Samantha Bee who has zero gray area in what she said. It was entirely vulgar and leaves no room for possible misinterpretation. And what has happened so far?
Zero except losing a couple of sponsorship ads on the show.
If the liberal side of the equation wants that equality thing, they should be going after Bee with pitchforks in hand and torches ready to burn her at the stake. But all we're getting is a "meh" out of them and even (as seen above) rationalization of her words.
There are words to describe such actions. It's called ****ing hypocrisy.
Uh huh.
You're the one who's moving the goal posts now. You specifically said to "destroy" the President.
Surely you can find an anti Obama speech of hers prior to November 2016.
Or just admit you're just arguing because you like to argue.

Wow, not your finest moment GV. I'm sorry, I can explain it but I can't understand this for you.
I have to vote against you on this one. You're off your game today.
I have no idea who she is. What station and is it a Disney station?
If she doesn't work for Disney, it's not hypocrisy in my mind. If she does, and they hired her to do what they fired Rosanne for doing---that's not an argument against hypocrisy.
As to the general left's treatment of this. It's a blatant double standard by the individuals perpetrating the double standard, just as it would be by anyone who was defending Rosanne. However, what I actually see from the right isn't a defense of Rosanne, but a call to the same standard from the left. I see lots of people that are saying, "OK. You want to crucify Rosanne? Fine. Where are the nails for your own?"
Big difference!
TBS has backed Samantha Bee after her apology to Ivanka Trump, issuing its own mea culpa for letting the feckless c insult make it to air.
Samantha Bee has taken the right action in apologizing for the vile and inappropriate language she used about Ivanka Trump last night, the network said in a statement. Those words should not have been aired. It was our mistake too, and we regret it.
Can we just admit that childish insults have no place in political discourse? Humor is one thing, but make it satirical. That fits with politics. It is focused on actions. Using derogatory terms and vulgarities isn't funny. It'slazyaccepted so long as it is used in reference to conservatives or those close to the Trump Administration.
See, Septic and CWV, this is how a logical argument should be presented.
I agree with what OC says here. It is a difference in networks, so there is that. However...
TBS backs Samantha Bee after Ivanka Trump apology: It was our mistake too - AOL Entertainment
"Yeah, we're sorry and stuff."
It seems a distinction without difference.
Words are whatever you make them out to be.And I've stated I have no problem with her being fired. Personally, I find there to be a difference in making racist comments and name calling. I know OC does not and I disagree with him on that issue because to maintain that position he is saying that calling someone a jerk is no different than calling them a ni**er. I see a distinction... he does not. No biggie. Difference of opinion.

What would the reaction have been if a someone had referred to Michelle Obama in the manner Bee referred to Ivanka?

Well, I hold no such double standard, so my post was correct. I find Samantha Bee's insult equally awful. Of course, I've never seen her show. Wouldn't even know about it were it not for the commercials.
