No **** Sparky, which totally contradicts your's statement about everybody liking Obama, he's been one of the most anti military presidents in my lifetime.

It's not not about having a mind of your own. It's about having an intimate knowledge of the living document you were sworn to protect and realizing that most people with power have a tendency to mess things up (I.e bad unit commanders, knowing that inevitably the VA is a waste of time due to the bureaucracy, etc). Knowing the power corrupts and too much power is bad. Knowing people who are corrupt shouldn't be in power since power magnifies the bad qualities.

I'm still in and have a vastly different experience with this.

My take aways.

1. I was disappointed that he didn't go all in on Lindsey Graham. He was about to, but ended up pulling back.
2. Not terribly pleased with him wanting to poke his nose in the South China Sea island dispute. None of our business.

Get your popcorn ready...

We had a GOP member yell out "liar" at Obama in one of his earlier addresses. There is no telling what is going to be shouted by the crowd or by Trump on that night.
