You’re trying too hard too. Look I’m a proponent of at will employment. Companies should have the latitude to manage their employee pool as they see fit and also decide what kind of conduct they want to see. They just can’t be dumbasses about firing people. We live in the woke age. I fully expect some dumbass companies to virtue signal and fire people if they have info that places people at the Capitol even if they did nothing wrong. The idiots can’t help themselves today. And they should get sued if they provide some dumbass virtue signaling reason. If instead they just release the person and say something like their job was eliminated or not say anything at all like pj said then they’re fine.Laws very state to state. Based on what I could find, your state would have to pass a specific law about it. This article mentions California and Oregon as examples.
What Employee Speech Is Protected in the Workplace?
I understand. But IMO that is crazy and proves why it can not be interpreted that way.
It highlights the importance of the "well regulated militia" part.
But I have zero desire to debate 2a,
I'd rather just enjoy watching the final breakdown of Trumpism.
Sorry for your loss. He would appreciate the kind words and being remembered so fondly.I just found out that a childhood neighbor and friend died of Covid after being put on a respirator a couple of weeks ago. He lived about 5 or 6 houses from me , and all of us the neighborhood kids used to play football in his big front yard while we were growing up. We were on the same Little League team, and he and his brother survived Vietnam as Marines, but both are now gone. He was a good man.

Also your link doesn’t apply we aren’t talking about this activity in the workplace we’re talking about on their own time. Any employee pulling this crap at the workplace should get thrown out immediately
Who would mind being outed it they were in attendance? Were they trying to keep it a secret? Are they embarrassed?
I do. I’m not a good shot and those squirrels are fast. The more rounds the better. Lol
But seriously how do moronic arguments like this start.
I shoot for fun as well as hunting and neither of those things matter to the 2a. the 2a doesn’t have anything to do with hunting. It’s more about defense aginst your government should it become tyrannical. So yes we should all have ARs and “standard capacity” magazines that hold 30 rounds
Just go Google at will employment it’s that simple. Companies absolutely have the right to impose conduct policies and do so all the time. Had I been in DC when this occurred I would have ran the other way as fast as I can I don’t want to deal with the paperwork even though I knew I would have done nothing wrong. But that is my specific case working for a defense contractor with a clearance. I’ve had to curb several basic freedoms in order to maintain that. It’s no biggie I was paid very well to do so.I don't agree there is going to be much chance of a successful lawsuit unless there is a specific state law allowing it. If you can cite something to the contrary, feel free to do so.
Your Free Speech Rights (Mostly) Don't Apply At Work
Murdered? She was trespassing on federal property and committing multiple felonies at the time, which included a large # of people who were illegally possessing firearms. Her death is sad, but I have not seen any proof she was "murdered".
No one should be punished for attending a rally (protest) unless they do something illegal.....unless it's a KKK rally or something. To avoid the lymch mob mentality that has consumed the left. In addition, to protect their families from reprisal and their careers/income to provide for their them.
Even when completely innocent, a person has to defend their self in the court of public opinion.

If you are worried about your attendance at a rally becoming known, that may be a sign that you should rethink your allegiance to that cause.
Do you really think any Joe Blow can just walk into a session of Congress??
