Based on how you said you’d handle it I don’t think you’d get hit with anything that would stick I think your stance is perfectly rational and defendable.Absolutely but even if I didn't, I think most I'd get hit with is some unemployment claims for termination without cause.
I would say disrupting a session of Congress because a demagogue that you worship in a attempt to subvert a process is very destructive. When people are part of a fascist cult, every day a purity test for them. There was very little blood either. Wasn't even the most destructive protests in dc since 2019. It was about as dangerous as when the group for disabled rights took over the Capitol
But that's happened before for many different reasons and those people weren't accused of sedition or treason. It's interesting to watch the shift just because one guy is a dbagI would say disrupting a session of Congress because a demagogue that you worship in a attempt to subvert a process is very destructive. Give me some examples of Congress having to stop a joint session and evacuate because protesters overran the building in an attempt to take over the process? But that's happened before for many different reasons and those people weren't accused of sedition or treason. This is my standard as well.My employees know not to do anything that reflects poorly on the company whether in or out of the office. I see someone at the rally they're okay unless they're acting foolish. I see someone in the Capitol (or throwing something at a police station in Portland or whatever) they're gone.
