TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

So, how will your voting change, once any potential abuses are revealed? I'm just trying to understand how you think the people will be empowered by this. Sounds like most of the folks who are potentially at fault are appointees and not elected officials. Trump has already replaced or is replacing many such folks. If it shows that Obama and his administration played some role, he's already out of office and cannot run again. Any legal action would be undertaken by the Trump DoJ. You're a Republican, I assume, so you weren't going to vote for any democrats anyway. So, again, how does your knowing the details allow you to influence anything?

Next step would be indictments IYAM. And before accused, I don't care what letter is behind the name the evidence leads to. Things will never change as long as corrupt politicians skate free.

If the Obama administration truly weaponized the DoJ, FBI, intelligence, etc to try to throw a US election, and then to delegitimize a duly elected US president, then I consider that treason. No less.

That's what I want if it's proven. To heck with the "he can't run again".

You and I would be executed for treason.

So my wife has been trained on facial gestures, body posture, tone; basically mind tools or what the hell ever you call it...

She doesn't follow politics. I asked her to watch Schiff, she has no clue who he is. She said it appears he's hiding something.

Then she watched Paul Ryan speak, she did know of who he was, said he looked genuine and honest about the memo.

Just thought that was interesting.

It’s interesting to watch people so vigorously defend the FBI, an organization that has at best a checkered past of subverting civil rights and the constitution for political gain.

Same people were defending it after Ruby Ridge and Waco.

exactly...99% of rank and file r great...law enforcement, and the judicial system on many levels is a very powerful and influential private club...we all know that.

like the FBI/DOJ etc all walk the walk of Jesus and follow Biblical rules and conduct 24/7 or something...lol

they do a great job, no question, but there are shades of grey...that's the problem

I watched a couple documentaries on Waco recently, I was too young at the time to grasp it but looking at it now it’s really gross. That was going to be a PR jackpot and went it went sideways they just decided to murder a bunch of women and children instead of dealing with the situation like adults. Watching Schumer act like a pompous ass during the subsequent hearings was the icing on the cake.

There was no need for anyone to die at Waco or Ruby Ridge.

Why? All of this happened on Comey's watch

I'm guessing it's because he thinks it will be difficult to run the FBI effectively after the memo is released. Every move will be under the microscope, which is inherently problematic for an intelligence gathering agency. I wouldn't want to work under those conditions either.

My wife would have no idea who Adam Schiff is. She may have seen Ryan, or heard of him, but I bet that she couldn't name him from a picture. Some people just aren't interested in all this noise. They are probably better off.

Again, I'm not disagreeing with the fact that any potential transgressions should be dealt with. I'm only saying that airing that out in the public forum for us and our allies and enemies to see is not going to be productive. Those who make the indictments would do so even without our seeing this memo.

Is the FBI primarily an intelligence gathering agency or a law enforcement agency?

I think if they are not aired out nothing will be done to fix the problems or punish the transgressors.

They just changed their name last week, Federal Bureau of Intelligence

Trying to take Luther's king of the obtuse crown?

Just back up your statement man. You said it so explain it.

You care to tell me how I'm "king of the obtuse"?
Go ahead man, back up your statement. Give me a link or one of those fabulous "multi posts" post.
You said it, now back it up....and with more than just your fancy words.

Just kidding....I find that kind of nonsense nonsensical.
