They were not spied on unless they came up talking to Russians who were being traced. I just posted a long story on Manafort and one could make the case that he and his business partners should have been irregardless. But I believe they were caught up in communications that were "caught" by US Intelligence. That would be totally appropriate under FISA law...

The FISA program was just voted on and passed and extended, which could not have happened w/o GOP support.

So far that argument hasn't gone anywhere. I'm listening to Rep. Jim Jordan say he hasn't seen the underlying info that would support the memo...that is mind blowing imo.

Actually that's not true, the "memo" was written by staffers of Gowdy or Nunes. Missed it the first time, apologies.

Jim Jordan also said the "memo" will be out tomorrow...maybe that was a slip, can't imagine it would come out the day of the SOTU address.

The Nunes memo seems to be setting up Rosenstein as the fall guy to be axed by Trump. Given that Rod is a Republican and was appointed by Trump, is he part of the "deep state" gunning for Trumps head? Was Rod put in power by a secret plan hatched by Jeff Sessions ?

If Trump does it, this is outrageous and a mind numbingly obvious obstruction of justice. In a twisted way, I hope Trump is stupid enough to do it. While it will buy him some time, it will more importantly galvanize opinion against him within the moderate community and ensure his impeachment.

How is finding and firing corrupt bureaucrats obstructing anything?

Comey and McCabe are dirty. Strzok and Page dirty as well.

These people need to be fired and potentially prosecuted.

You assume this is all politically motivated. You seem to have failed to consider that the people leaving/being fired are dirty.

McCabe should have recused himself from Terry McAuliffe and Hillary's investigations. He did not.

Comey is a slime. He kept classified information after being fired and then shared it with a friend who had no clearance to view it. Comey now claims the friend is his personal lawyer.

This isn't rocket science.

These guys are dirty. Trump said he was going to drain the swamp. Now you guys are shocked that he is keeping his word.

Thanks, but no need to pity me. Either Trump goes down and we all benefit or he doesn't and only people like you and I receive some very short term benefit.

If the investigation is allowed to reach its natural end, Trump is out. If the investigation is thwarted by Trump and House repubs., Trump will forever be seen as guilty in the minds of all but the Trumpsters.
