TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Thanks, but no need to pity me. Either Trump goes down and we all benefit or he doesn't and only people like you and I receive some very short term benefit.

If the investigation is allowed to reach its natural end, Trump is out. If the investigation is thwarted by Trump and House repubs., Trump will forever be seen as guilty in the minds of all but the Trumpsters.

So you are implying the “natural end” of this investigation is Trump going down, not that he could be exonerated.

You sound like an FBI investigator.

Giving false/incomplete information to the FISA court for a warrant. Federal crime. If they don't prosecute they will never get another warrant.

Please provide a link to your allegations. I've seen no allegations (much less evidence) of any CRIME or CORRUPT activity by Rosenstein.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein approved an application last year to extend surveillance of former Trump campaign associate Carter Page, according to a secret Republican memo detailed in a The New York Times report.

According to the Times, which cited three people familiar with the memo, the FBI and Justice Department's application was based partially on research by investigator Christopher Steele, who compiled a dossier containing unverified claims about President Trump's ties to Russia.

The GOP memo alleges officials did not sufficiently explain their reasoning for extending the surveillance, it added.

There is no information that the FBI or Justice Department did anything improper in their attempts to get a surveillance warrant, according to the Times. The newspaper noted, however, that Republicans could seize on the information and allege that Rosenstein didn't properly vet the application.

Yah. Open minded Luther is constantly appalled at how gaslighted everyone else is, and how blind they are to it.

Of course that is what I am implying. Why else would he and his house repubs. be so intent on stopping the investigation? Their actions paint him as guilty more and more with each passing day.

At this point, we need someone from the inside to stand up and do the right thing. Kelly, Mattis, Sesions. One of these guys needs to put an end to this.

I'm not sure you would like the "ending" you are hoping for.

But good morning, nonetheless. What kind of crazy talk are you going to bring to the table today?

Yeah? What actions are those?

If Trump read the memo at the SOTU tonight, the Dims would lose their everloving minds!

What would the charge be, dissemination of classified, domestic information?

What’s the right thing? Are you advocating a coupe?

Though I do find it funny (not necessarily in regards to LG) that so many liberals that have zero use for the military and whine about the "banana republic" advocate for a violent overthrow of the government by the military.

Not really understanding the majority of the military likes Trump far more than their chosen one.

Yep, most certainly don’t understand the military. Most of the rank and file would refuse such orders.

Yeah? What actions are those?

One example might be the Nunes memo. There is a very small percentage of people who feel the handling of the Nunes memo has been appropriate. The majority are increasingly seeing it for what it is.

Not a coup, dummies.

Hold a presser. Say your oath requires that you resign and explain that Trump is out of control, trying to block the investigation by attacking good men at the FBI and you refuse to play a role.
