Trump's false claims about disaster response are beyond the pale

It didn’t come straight from Axelrod at all. The “this is why they aren’t helping, they benefit from this” was entirely added by Clay Travis

Are you saying that is AI on the radio? The statement came straight from Alelxerod about which voters are impacted more. Rural, non surburan voters. It doesn't take a genius to know that but he cast the reel.

He’s saying it could impact the election because it could be harder for certain Trump voters to vote, which makes sense. That has absolutely nothing to do with the disaster response or motives, but Travis is spinning it into a conspiracy because he’s a clown

Bwahahahahaha.

Burn it all down and start over. 99% of Fema needs axed. The 1% left can run more efficiently than it can currently.

Wth!? This may be the most heinous looking group holistically ever in federal government including 3rd world countries. Democrats.

We all know what Axelrod said. He is not coming up with a theory but those voters are cut off right now. Many are dead or time is not on their side to get help. Period.

In the next few days, due to all the criticism the federal government will feel the pressure to do more after once again demonstrating incompetence. Slack jaws every will run to their nearest keyboard to credit the government response with a - see there.

Yeah, he said something straightforward and Travis inserted a conspiratorial explanation that he didn’t say or imply at all. Glad you agree

Yeah or they’ll be better able to handle the situation with more time to do so and people like you will make up a conspiracy theory about it

So it's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. "Yea let's F those swing states. That'll help us win this election." Not everyone who lives in Asheville is a Dem.

Katrina didn't take forever bc Bush was racist
This **** is hard
The government is bloated with layers of bureaucracy
The government is incompetent in many areas

Dont disagree that this work for hard for an incompetent and bloated government but I can with reasonable certainty say that the fed response would have been far better if NOLA had the same voting demographics of Red Texas (Rita) and SW FL (Wilma)....

If people can donate animal feed, I think it would be a nice gesture as well. Friends of ours are making a run tomorrow, even got Tractor Supply to donate a pallet, and another pallet from a local feed store.

I can't even imagine trying to find a place for livestock and trying to get them out of there.

Major Flip Flop — Mayorkas 3 Months Ago: FEMA ‘Tremendously Prepared’ for Hurricane Season

1728082657031.png

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas just three months ago said that FEMA was “tremendously prepared” for hurricane season, making a tremendous flip-flop this week after admitting that FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the remainder of the hurricane season.

“FEMA is tremendously prepared. This is what we do. This is what they do,” Mayorkas said in July, adding that they also wanted to ensure that the “communities who are potentially impacted are prepared as well.”

Seems like damn near everyone has conspiracy brain at this point

Not as much conspiracy as much as there is 20 years of results that shows the quality of the recovery is partly based on voting....

Compare Bush's response in NOLA vs Texas (Rita) or Florida (Wilma)

Compare Obama with Sandy (strong) vs Matthew in SC and NC (weak)

Compare Trump with Maria in PR and Michael in FL

Conpare Gov Lee with March 2023 storms in Shelby vs Dec 2023 storms in Nashville

Well, it should be easy enough for them to show us where they have spent the current fiscal year’s 20 Billion dollar disaster relief budget, shouldn’t it?

As an aside, doesn’t the federal budget fiscal year reset Oct 1? Shouldn’t they have a complete new full coffer? (In federal budget terms, anyway.)

You were saying?

Not thr world though which is what the post said...

You were saying?

Even Abermarle's own 10K even said this wasnt the biggest deposit they operate in the US...

No it aint...nice try parroting that right wing lie though...
Kings Mountain could produce enough material to manufacture 1.2 million electric vehicles annually. The mine sits on one of the world’s richest deposits of spodumene ore, a source of lithium. There is currently only one operational lithium mine in the U.S. in Silver Peak, Nevada, which is owned by Albemarle.
