LOL.If Gaetz doesn’t get confirmed I think Trump has his sacrificial lamb so all the others get pushed through.
To the folks that think the Gaetz pick is an error, it may just be part of the plan.
Buckle up
To say you are getting ahead of your skis would be an understatement. LOL.I think it’s at least 8. The GOP wins in 2028. Probably Vance. Maybe the left comes back to the middle after losing 3 of 4. So the show will probably last a while.
This is what I’m here for. Pls post more. I’m here for the next 4 years watching the TDS folks flail about.
Let’s just say I agree with all of that (I don’t). I think you are overthinking it.To say you are getting ahead of your skis would be an understatement. LOL.
Trump will soon be reminding a lot of people of how it was possible for Joe Biden to win in 2020. Trump's presidency will once again be chaotic, with a high rate of Turner throughout his administration. Infighting and palace intrigue galore.
There is frequently a big difference between the reputations of Trump appointees/nominees from the time they join his administration and when they leave it. With nothing ever being Trump's fault, very few have their dignity intact when they leave. Mike Pompeo, Nikki Haley, Mick Mulvaney and Mark Meadows are prime examples of this.
I’m not anti- vaccinations and I agree with him.The only reasons to select RFK Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services, are :
1) You are anti-vaccinations, just like he is.
and/or
2) You want to curry favor with members of your core constituency who are also opposed to vaccines.
and/or
3) You pledged this post to him during the campaign, in order to get him to drop out of the race, and endorse you.
Whatever the reason, Trump isn't taking this seriously. It's the kind of poor judgment and extremism that will have him at an approval rating of 40-45% a year from now .... which is where he was for most of his first term as well.
These types of things are exactly why I am on record, multiple times, stating I hope Trump would win. He will ultimately be harmless to this great country, but the entertainment factor is off the charts. I think he's consciously running a circus, to a certain degree. He knows his supporters love itWell, I thought I’d wait and see if Trump got smarter or developed any sense of the right things to do before commenting. He did win and to the winner go the spoils for better or for worse. Didn’t have to wait long to see that he’s going to govern with the worst set of underlings this side of Geobbels, Hess and Himmler.
Gaetz- Absolute abomination of a human being. Putting him as attorney general is like letting a fox guard the henhouse. It’s also a transparent ploy to allow that pedophile avoid more House investigations.
Kennedy- How in the world could anybody think that nutcase has the educational background to head up HHS? That is an absolute joke.
Miller- Looks and sounds like Goebbels. Scary lunatic. Nuff said.
I’m just waiting for him to nominate MTG as Secretary of Education. That would be fitting in this bunch of clowns. So far he might as well have nominated the Three Stooges. I’m just going to sit back and watch them embarrass this country on the world stage. Write it down, it’s coming and I’m going to laugh bigly.
I disagree with everything, but most especially this. With Republicans in control of the White House and both chambers of Congress, for at least the first two years that Trump is in office, it is ridiculous to say that 2028 will be more about what Democrats do or don't do than Republicans. In fact, that is a really stupid thing to say. The state of the country in 2028 will be the Republican's baby.2028 will have more to do with what the democrats do or don’t do than Trump.
I can't think of too many times I have complained about Trump being investigated.
I applaud your dedication to the bit, if not your skill in making it work. It’s not fair that you only picked out a few of the dozens of times I whined about Trump being investigated and ignored all the times I didn’t.
I've reached the "This place deserves whatever it gets," stage. Let it burn. I don't care what happens.Fair is fair I suppose, I watched you drive your car into an embankment every day.
I'm ambivalent to this really. America is going to get what it asked for, who am I to judge the will of the electorate? Having Trump is much better for my bottom line than kamala. Collectively, we keep hiring idiots and wondering what went wrong.
Keep racing to the left. Keep losing your shi* when a pundit calls a boy a boy instead of a trans girl. Keep blaming Hispanic men for the parties failing. Do it! Just run to the left.I disagree with everything, but most especially this. With Republicans in control of the White House and both chambers of Congress, for at least the first two years that Trump is in office, it is ridiculous to say that 2028 will be more about what Democrats do or don't do than Republicans. In fact, that is a really stupid thing to say. The state of the country in 2028 will be the Republican's baby.
My point is even simpler ....Keep racing to the left. Keep losing your shi* when a pundit calls a boy a boy instead of a trans girl. Keep blaming Hispanic men for the parties failing. Do it! Just run to the left.
Look at some of Trumps picks. Tulsi. RFK. Elon. These were democrats just a short time ago. Young people are moving toward the Republican Party as well.
My point BB, is if y’all keep going left, unless the GOP completely blows it, 2028 is done! If yall love to the right, Trumps admin could perform well over these next few years and the GOP would have a real fight.
You should try unlearning of his existence. Make him a Che Guerra to you.lol......I admire their ability to sit back and give trump an undeserved fair shake.
And I have to admit that I had the slightest glimmer of hope that trump would actually attempt to be a president for all.
That lasted less than a week.
trump is indeed the horrendously despicable human I always thought him to be.
So if Trump and the GOP deliver, you are saying that they win in 2028. It’s as simple as that?My point is even simpler ....
Republicans will control the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate for the next two years. The country's state of affairs in 2028 will be the Republican Party's to own. There will also still be a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, comprised of at least 3 of Trump's nominations. There will be no blaming the Democrats for anything. It will be the Republican's baby in 2028.
From what I found earlier today, Geatz was investigated, they recommended no prosecution in '22, and closed the case in Feb '23.
