Trump's "Truth Social" Media Oxymoron Incarnate

No thanks. Not necessary.

It is no skin of my back if you want to support DJT. But I will tell you like I told his supporters in 2020, prepare to be disappointed.
Of course it's not necessary. You have to stay in your safe space.

I've thrown out other names. Nothing makes you guys happy. Guess you all will be voting to re elect Biden.

That will be difficult seeing as how there is not a chance in hell Biden will run in '24. At least move on from Biden as you continue to cling to Trump.

Many here vote for a non traditional candidate separate from the 2 major parties. Others are conscientious objectors at the ballot box.

If you consider that a safe space, I am certain your label is water off a duck's back.

I'm ignoring you on this point.
If it makes you feel any better - you can add in that the voters have demanded that the party reflect their desires. (majority rule)
You have to ignore me to maintain your love of party. Even when facts are against you you'll just toe that party line

That and news is instant around the world. Twitter and the fact everyone can report news as it happens to me is why the media is now more opinions over facts. A journalism degree is up there with an English/Poetry major who becomes a barista.
True. Real journalism takes too long. The emphasis now seems to be speed. Get it out before it’s old news, screw the facts. A few good examples are the Russia hoax and the Bidens’ involvement with Burisma and Hunter’s laptop.

We will be left with evaluating degrees of rottenness.
If everyone were to make it a point to vote for the least rotten candidate during the primaries, then the motivation for politicians wishing to get elected would be to be less rotten. If we continually elected less rotten candidates, then eventually we may even elect someone who is not rotten at all............in theory or course.
Except rot doesnt work that way. Neither does our politics.

Anyone rotten or beholden to a party, no matter how little, just continues the same bs. Trump was the first to buck a party. But he was still rotten outside the party issues, so he wasnt better. But because his rot was personal vs a party rot, he gets singled out as different when really there isnt a difference.

He kept too many long time establishment Republicans in his cabinet and on his staff. That was a big part of his problem.

Okay. Instead of complaining give us 5 candidates you would like to see run in the GOP primary.

Would you like the GOP to become the party of Bush again? Please answer that question honestly.

It really would do you guys some good if some of you listened to at least some what David Goggins has to say.

You guys really live in an alternate reality. Turn off MSNBC and CNN for a change. And stop reading NY Times, Washington Post and Buzzfeed.

I read those plus Foxnews and glance at OAN and Newsmax.

One of the biggest problems our country faces is the silo mentality that pervades politics now. Echo chamber mentality is just sad.

The echo chamber and obedience exists much more on the left and democrat party than on the right.

That's like asking me which syphilitic, unkempt lady I want to date. I literally do not know of any good options in, or out of, the major parties. Amash has some things I really like but he is likely not running.

I would like to see the GOP be the party of small government, again. And not just rhetorically. In actual application. I have not seen any GOP president govern as a small government proponent. I will be 52 in two weeks.

Brian Kemp, R Governor of Georgia. He wont be popular in either primary but I think would do better than most in the general.
Justin Amash, R/I congressman. Did a terrible job marketing his campaign before folding it, but probably the closest person I align to politically that I know about.
Rand Paul.

Those are my top 3. Problem is the closed primary system. None of them would win the majority of the R vote over a populist, but would do far better in the general. And I am sure I will hear the typical bandwagon speil about my selections, while completely ignoring their politics.

Any real reformer, even if they make it out of the primaries, and even if elected, would be ground to a pulp in DC and in the media. Too many earn a comfortable living with the status quo to not obstruct a reformer.

Thomas Massie? Him and Rand seem pretty similar. And what about someone like Byron Donalds?

If you can get past her position on gun control, education, and environmental control, Tulsi would be a viable option.

Massie is a Trump humper. Otherwise not terrible. Acts very financially conservative until it's not in his best interest
He supported funding the border wall with Mexico, and despite voting no on every other disaster relief fund but has pushed for his home state to get relief when they needed it. I like his international/military stance. He has good gun, cannabis and abortion views, imo of course.

I dont know anything about Donald's and will look him up.
