TrumPutinGate

British and Dutch intelligence notified the FBI that their assets saw Carter Page in Moscow meeting with Russian Government officials and with a Russian Oligarch who is close friends with Vladimir Putin. It also was suggested when it was found out that Paul Manafort had taken millions of $$$ to help orchestrate the Russian takeover of Crimea and the Ukrainian and Russian response to the Euromaidan protests in which 700 Ukrainian protesters were killed. Manafort has been tied to their deaths and is wanted for questioning in Ukraine. This was all around the early summer late spring of 2016

Assuming this is the real start of the theory only Manafort had any real role in the Trump campaign and he was out in August.

50%? How did you come to that conclusion? Do you have a link?

I'm guessing because the FBI stated that they were able to collaborate some of the allegationS in the dossier through NSA intercepts and consider the dossier RUMINT (Rumor Intelligence)

Carter Page was a foreign policy adviser on the Trump campaign. He sat front row at Trump's first foreign policy speech in Washington. In September the FBI began their investigation into him and h quit the campaign but still kept in close contact with it.

one of many advisers.

not sure what "kept in close contact" means.

This is appropriate here

I know well that the very real obstacles to removal injure the psyche of those worn thin by the relentless onslaught of awfulness erupting from this White House. I know well that impeachment is one of the only rays of hope cutting through these dark times. I’m with you; I too crave some form of political comeuppance.

But, I believe that it’s important to face the very real possibility that removal may not come, and if it does, it won’t come swiftly. And even a Trump impeachment would leave America with a President Pence, a nightmare of a different stripe but no less a nightmare.

Election nullification is the just outcome; laws be damned

After he left the campaign he was kept at an arm's length but still had contact and input with the campaign (though Flynn) I forgot about Flynn taking $500,000 from the Russians and another $38,000 to speak at an RT event.

Why do you think Trump told Comey he wants him to go after his "satellites" if they've done something wrong?

Given he just asked for leniency on Flynn do you think he'd say go get them if he was tied to them in some greater conspiracy?

I just want to know why Trump feels the need to attempt to save Flynn if he's willing to sacrifice his "satellites"?

Then the question would be what part of the 10%-90% is considered fact intel???

Could be the same stuff that our intel already knew. Russian attempts to interfere, etc.

I don't doubt there are plenty of strands linking Russia to the DNC hacks, the fake news stories and as we know they had dealings with Manafort, Flynn and Page to some extent.

I'm equally certain that there are others on the D side of the ledger that have similar links to the Russians but are not linked because Russia appears to have picked sides for their interference.

my guess is he liked Flynn and thought his public humiliation from being fired was punishment enough. I'm betting he never realized Flynn was so compromised in character. He probably knew it about Manafort and accordingly if he's gonna fry for something let him fry.

From what we know so far there were no further attempts to stop Comey's pursuit of Flynn other than the request at that meeting.

Manafort, Flynn and Page have way more access and connections in Russia. The other thing is those 3 are not the only one who worked on the Trump campaign with less that savory connections to the Kremlin. It's as if no one on the campaign thought about vetting who it hired.

I think that's pretty clear. He picked people he saw say things he liked on Fox News.

If you're referring to Sessions as a Russia man I think that's barking up the wrong tree completely.

Sessions is another story to itself. His third meeting with the Russians that he didn't tell congress about. This is his 3rd time not informing congress about these meetings and it looks suspect.

Per an interview with a Trump surrogate on PBS, Trump is "considering terminating" the special counsel Robert Mueller. I hope he does. That would have to come with a Republican backlash. Several Republicans in Congress have voiced their support of Mueller and his credentials and integrity. I doubt Trump has the audacity to do it but we'll see.

Lol...... he's trolling trolling trolling keep them libs a rollin

I thought the rumored 3rd meeting had already been proven false.

Have heard conflicting things.

As I understand it, Comey said he "may have" and it is based on intercepts between the ambassador and another Russian where the amb is telling the other person.
