And this affects your governance how?
Sorry, but I'm not going to let people like you blame all your problems on the "young generation."
Nope, you got us here. Take some responsibility for once. So you show up for work on time. Big flipping deal. Need another entitlement check to reward you or something?
I enjoy discussion and philosophical debate also. For whatever reason, our discussions always seem more like mixing oil and vinegar. Now, withe above out of the way, I'll try to engage you again...
Please enlighten me on moving from the concrete to the abstract. Thinking me not much of a thinker, engage me and expand my understanding. Instruct me.
Exactly which part of the abstract makes me wrong and you right?
Just pay my entitlement like I did for my grand parents and parents okay?
Your generation is the one that has wreaked havock. I work every day with your generation and they are lazy as sh1t. They can't come to work before 8:30 or 9:00, when everyone else comes in at 7:00, they can't be critisized, they're *******.

So, throwing caution to the wind,....makes you wrong and me right about what?

I don't have a problem with that. I believe every generation should help the ones before it. I often vote for tax increases upon my own income group to try to help others, when I think it fiscally responsible to do so.
The problem is, your generation has never been willing to budge on the social security age, which will one day break the back of my generation.
But, lecture us on how we're all lazy slobs though. That should make us feel better about what you've got in store for our retirement futures later down the road.

I'm 34. Just barely in your generation. Embarrassing. Anyway, our generation is full of lazy, worthless people. That's not even really debatable anymore.
And why in the F do you vote for tax increases? Nothing is stopping you from paying more in taxes. Keep your worthless hands out of my pocket.

CNN is neither liberal nor liberal-slanted. I used to think they were, but they're not.
They just go with the ratings.
Also, while we're on this subject, let's retire the false Fox and MsNBC equivalency. One is a propaganda site meant to stir half of Americans into enraged frenzy (if not even violence), while the other is merely selective in its coverage. The two are not the same thing.
There's a big difference between disagreements in debate and equating the debate to "a dog chasing its tail, no?
I'll throw up some multi-quotes. Cool?
I've just noticed some patterns with you, and you gave some perfect opportunities today to explore them. If you're open to instruction, you may take it as actual instruction, learn a thing or two, and maybe even change your MO around here.
