TrumPutinGate

I got to the interview phase of my AF officer candidacy (had also just initiated with Army) when I was finally denied on medical.

The week before, I had a heart-to-heart with my recruiter about what I had been hiding. I was so desiring to serve, I was actually going to lie initially on my medical forms, as my first recruiter had told me to do. Kind of like how my grandfather lied about his age to join WWII.

But, after learning more about security clearances, which I was surely bound for, I realized I would never make it, so I came forward and that was that. Broke my heart.

Still have a few applications out with some military "alternatives" though, but I won't go into the specifics.

You know we don't agree on much, but for what it's worth, I'd be less concerned about the possibility of you having a security clearance than Dim politicians (probably politicians in general really) - and especially the Clintons.

For a Trumper, this is as close to a concession as can be managed, so thank you for your sincerity and kind words.

One thing is for certain, I would handle my TS+ much better than Boy Wonder, the Secretary of Everything.

I largely agree with your statements. I agree that Donny is not the cause; merely a gross symptom of the rot in all of us and in our system. We're responsible for this and what it has become.

I also agree that it will most likely not come to a civil war. I do, however, believe that we will be confronted with a major constitutional crisis, the likes of which we have only seen in the 1780s-90s and in the 1860s. As a result of that, I think there will be some bloodshed, but it will likely be minor. Nothing on "civil war" scale.

Regarding the nation ultimately ending, perhaps, but I will never allow it as long as there's still a breath in me.

Those first two events really were about an aversion to being on the losing side of colonialism, and then people following an accepted rule of the day when there was a great movement to change how men treated their fellow men. Civil strife now is all about wacko libs making up chip as they go and believing they are the enlightened and all knowing portion of society - loony bins have been rightfully filled with the "enlightened" for a long time.

But I was told this kind of rhetoric was what liberals do when they want to be violent and shoot congressmen at baseball games.

I guess it doesn't work that way when so-called "conservatives" do it.

I'll derail. These are just generalities.

1. Eliminate lifetime federal judicial appointments.
2. Term limits for congress AND (outside of national emergency) a maximum number of days they can be in session per year.
3. Election Day moved to the first Tuesday after April 15th.

Not bad, but I think April 1st would be more fitting as Election Day. Maybe shift tax day to Mar 31st to fit both parts of the equation.

Wasn't aware of conservatives out plinking congressmen - at least in the literal sense.

They've not succeeded yet, but I guess you missed the Gianforte WWE event, followed the same week by the Texas state rep threatening to shoot his Democratic colleague on the Texas House floor.

Holy god, Jesus in Heaven.

Maybe there's hope for you yet.

By the way, if you think Donny knew none of this, I've got not one, not two, but three consecutive Butch Jones' national titles to sell you.

Don't get ahead of yourself. It's not because I think he was colluding w Russians

People tend to have at more attention around tax time.

I would also eliminate federal withholding, everyone writes a check for what they owe in total.

Ohhh, nasty; and I agree completely. Now let's also delete deductions, minimum incomes, and include all sources of income to really stir the pot.

He called ICE on the illegal protestors, which enraged a couple Dems into assaulting and threatening him. He subsequently said he'd defend himself with deadly force if necessary.

That sounds a lot less unhinged. But still sounds like grade school that grown men, state reps no less, are trying to act like bad assess.

There are literally 4-6 weekends to vote already. I thought early voting is in every state by now.

That's something else that needs to be tamed. Election Day - not week, month, or year. Too much happening right up to election day - some of it might even influence the more hardened zealots.

Hog thinks so too. I've never considered it.
