TrumPutinGate

He called ICE on the illegal protestors, which enraged a couple Dems into assaulting and threatening him. He subsequently said he'd defend himself with deadly force if necessary.

So, to buy this version of events, I have to believe the guy who threatened to put a bullet in the head of one of his colleagues.

Sorry, not buying it, but you go right ahead.

Amazing how there's always a pre-set exculpatory narrative for every action a conservative has ever done.

Tell me, but a poor libtard, where is this land that produces flawless moral specimens known as "Conservatives"?

California?

That sounds a lot less unhinged. But still sounds like grade school that grown men, state reps no less, are trying to act like bad assess.

According to Dems, the Republican said "I’m glad I just called ICE to have all these people deported - **** them and **** you" It caused massive triggering and a subsequent scuffle. The Repub said he was assaulted and threatened that he better watch his back, that they would get him. He then responded that he'd shoot anyone who came after him.

Oh, really?

KIEV, Ukraine — Paul J. Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman, recently filed financial reports with the Justice Department showing that his lobbying firm earned nearly $17 million for two years of work for a Ukrainian political party with links to the Kremlin.

Curiously, that was more than the party itself reported spending in the same period for its entire operation — the national political organization’s expenses, salaries, printing outlays and other incidentals.

Early bets on where the money actually came from?

Manafort’s work for Yanukovych caught the attention of a veteran Democratic operative named Alexandra Chalupa, who had worked in the White House Office of Public Liaison during the Clinton administration. Chalupa went on to work as a staffer, then as a consultant, for Democratic National Committee. The DNC paid her $412,000 from 2004 to June 2016, according to Federal Election Commission records, though she also was paid by other clients during that time, including Democratic campaigns and the DNC’s arm for engaging expatriate Democrats around the world.

There are literally 4-6 weekends to vote already. I thought early voting is in every state by now.

Not all states. NC only had ~2 (15 days) week period of early voting in 2016 (10/20-11/5) They also cut out one of the weekends if I'm not mistaken.

Many counties reduced the number of early voting places. Eg., one county went from 16 early voting places to 1.

Perhaps.

I think it's a given Flynn has turned state's witness, likely in an attempt at a reduced sentence for both he and his son (yep, his son).

The big question seems to be whether or not Manafort has too. I've heard conflicting things, although some legal experts in the circles I follow have said that the fact he is now registering as a foreign agent for FARA and now doing proper financial disclosures is a possible indicator that Mueller wants him "legal" for the state's testimony in the trials.

We'll see.

That seems confusing. The national election should have identical voting parameters in all 50 states.

I've been meaning to ask the board, anybody here think Donny will try to fire Mueller?

If trump feel like he or a family member is going down I feel like he would fire Mueller and try to weather the storm. He might just be successful too. The Republicans are too spineless to to do the right thing.

Of course firing Archibald didn't work out too well for Dick Nixon.

I think even VP can appreciate this one

Although I would argue that Putin is the third base coach, umpire, manager, commentator, team owner, and league commissioner, because he literally does it all. Superhuman IMO
