TrumPutinGate

This isn't even close to the intent of the investigation. They're just looking for crimes. Definition of witch hunt

This is what bothers me about it. Does anyone really think that after all the time, money, and media attention given to this subject that Mueller and his team are going to end up saying "we couldn't find anything." No, they're going to look and dig into things unrelated and possibly even intentionally twist events just so they can have something to bring forward as an indictment. May not even have anything to do with Russian collusion which was the entire intent.

And after it's all said and done what will happen? Book deals and speaking invitations worth multimillions to the people that bring an indictment. People will get rich off this.

Yeah, good to know you took Civics 101. But the question was what is "unconditional" about the bill being proposed by Lindsey Graham.

Your quote was "Yeah! More unconditional legislation". What does that mean?

Typing on my phone without my reading glasses. Supposed to have been unconstitutional but I'm sure you knew that.

Nope, they are going to charge someone with something. This is Whitewater and Ken Starr all over again except dirtier.

What amazes me is we have lawyers, service members and others who are celebrating blatantly unconstitutional power grabs by the political establishment.

It will be interesting to see their comments when the next Dem occupies the WH.

It's hard to see blood threw rose colored glasses.

Well..Trump is done folks. He sold his Palm Beach mansion in 2008 to a Russian fertilizer billionaire for $100 million. Impeach his ass.

The theme taken by the nuthuggers in this thread, and Trump last night, is disturbing. It seems that the narrative is to resist the likely end to this. To simply not accept the results of the investigations, reject any criminal charges, and fight the consequences.

It's gone from "there's absolutely nothing to this," to ""there's a lot to this, but be loyal to me anyway because it reflects poorly on you if we follow the law."

Come on folks. He tricked you. You should be mad at him, not the people that are showing you how he did it.

You are seriously a hypocritical **** this morning aren't you? For eight years, you fought tooth and nail against any kind of hint of impropriety from the Obama Administration, regardless of how severe it was. But now? When the shoe is on the other foot, you go balls to the wall making accusations about the current Administration because it's not your chosen one.

Sore ****ing loser.

Still going to have to see some evidence of wrongdoing.

There will be no "end" to "resist". Nothing was ever going to come of this. Been fishing for a year. Nothing has materialized. Give it up. Your concern trolling is getting old.

What would it take?

Let me give you the following hypotheticals and see which ones would tip the scales. Let's say Mueller finds evidence of any of the following, would you say it is time for Trump to be ousted?

1) Trump knew in advance of the June 2016 meeting with the Russian government liaison, and that the purpose was to get Russian government help in defeating Clinton.

2) Trump was told that there was info coming in from Russian government to help him beat Clinton, and that is why he made the speech wherein he promised to have new explosive info on her after the meeting.

3) Trump was aware of Russian hacking of DNC system and giving info to wikileaks as cover.

4) Trump promised any Russian agent that he would assist in removing sanctions.

5) Trump has significant financial ties to Russia and they have have been in touch with him to obtain favors.

6) Trump has laundered money for Russian interests.

7) Trump fired Comey, or tries to fire Mueller prospectively, to prevent investigation into either he or his family's finances on a good faith basis to review any of the above.

8) The purpose of the back channel Kush was setting up, using Russian system, was to hide their communications with the Russians from US intelligence agencies.

For me, a yes to any one of the eight is impeachable and will render him in any event completely illegitimate as President. But that's me. How about you Trump nuthuggers? Which of those eight would do the trick?

1, 2 and 3 it would have to be more than simple knowledge.

4 Maybe, depends on who and if there was a quid-pro-quo arrangement.

5 would depend on if he actually did favors.

6 how long ago and for who?

7 Comey should have been fired day one. If he fires Muller without solid evidence of political shenanigans by Muller maybe so, still would need more to meet the requirements for impeachment. He's well within his right to fire a SC.

8 yes

What you better hope for is they find some solid evidence of Trump and/or his family actively involved in colluding with the Russians, being bribed ext. If Muller charges Trump/his family or impeachment hearings held over some unrelated financial dealings from years gone by, the witch hunt will be verified. It will not be good long term for anyone.

I have asked this question and never really received an answer, at least that I've seen. If Trump got this damaging information on HRC, what happened to the information? I don't recall him ever using anything against her in the campaign. If he got this information, what did he allegedly do with it?

Agree with this

I don't think they're going to find anything of significance regarding collusion with Russia..... however..... won't be shocked at all if some types of financial improprieties are.... racketeering, money laundering, etc...

This is my prediction as to what happens. They've already moved on from the Russian collusion stuff because they can't find anything so they're casting a wider net.

Maybe this will make LG happy but I would support impeachment if Trump cans Mueller (assuming no new reason to can him emerges such as direct conflict of interest).

They haven't moved on. Mueller's investigation has been divided between 2 Areas. Russian Collusion with the Trump campaign and financial crimes, fraud, organized crime and foreign bribery and connections with Russia. The FBI has appointed 20 agents from FBI Counterintelligence to help Mueller's team with the Russian Collusion part of the investigation.

I've been curious about that, too. One possible explanation is that the reason Kush wanted out of the meeting was that he realized that it was bad news.
