TrumPutinGate

You're dismissing legitimate grounds for investigation and impeachment by just saying they are going to come up with something. We'll see what they find. Maybe nothing or minor. But given the way Trump has tried to duck this, I think you have to be prepared for the very real possibility it's bad.

You know, I'm still waiting on someone to tell me Hillary's campaign wouldn't have sent someone to a meeting where an individual claimed to have damaging info on Trump. Even if they were Russians.

And they need to be serious and believe it.

Ken Starr, 4 years, Monica Lewinsky, special council run amok, searching for anything that can be twisted into an impeachable offense, real traitors attempting to undermine our democratic institutions and overthrow a LEGITIMATELY elected president? That's all ringing a bell.

Mueller has 100 times more credibility than Starr. Repubs. were batsh1t crazy during that period.

The biggest difference between the two is that there is actually meat on the bone this time. Plus this one has only been going for a couple of months and not years.

Starr, to the glee of the right, set the latitude of a special investigation very high and the impeachable offense bar extremely low. Not to worry though, Mueller and the left would never go to the ridiculous extremes of Starr and the right.

My God man ... low!???
The President of the United States shoved cigars up Monica's vagina and made foreign dignitaries WAIT ON HIS BLOWJOB!.

Don't ever, ever talk about low; as if the vileness of the Clintons and the Demosh|ts who cling to them haven't made the whole damn "Swamp" inside the beltway a frickin cesspool. America's fall from ever being able to claim any moral high ground again began with Bill Clinton.

And what "high crimes" are they, zeppelin?

the chief adversary/enemy of this country to win an election? That's a serious political crime. Obstruction of justice? That's why Nixon was impeached and resigned. We know there was collusion between the Trumpsters and the Russians; we know that Trump and his cronies have lied from the start, and repeatedly (and sometimes under oath), about contacts with Russians--they've all been caught in numerous lies; and we know Trump has already obstructed justice by firing Comey--he admitted in an interview that he did so because of the Russian investigation--and by appealing to heads of our intelligence agencies to ignore the Russia issue; and because Trump, being an idiot, has said that he wishes he had never hired Sessions, because Sessions cannot help him cover up or quash the Russian investigation, so he's also acknowledged his desire to obstruct justice.

There's no doubt in my mind--and that of others--that the Trumpsters promised to end the sanctions on Russia in exchange for help from Russia during the election. That is the quid-pro-quo that, if proven by Mueller, will sink Trump. There's no doubt that it happened---Flynn said as much to the Russian ambassador right after the election, and then lied about it, which got him fired (and let's remember that he had been compromised by the Russians)--and if it can be learned that that message was passed to the Russians during the campaign, it will be the coup de gras for this corrupt, asshat president of ours.

Suggesting that someone else might have made the same bad decisions that you did TENDS NOT to mitigate your problem.

Oh sure, but come on. Did you see the toothless hillbillies surrounding Trump in West Va.?

Impeaching Trump for anything less than very serious will alienate them forever. The establishment Republicans aren't going down this road without an expectation that at the end they can get rid of the Trump albatross but keep the Trump voters on board in '18 and beyond.
I would think that running Trump out of office for something not very serious could possibly kick off an armed revolution.

enough to get the difference between getting a BJ and colluding with a foreign power to win a U.S. election. Trying taking a course in logic. We've got a president who has a boner for Putin because dirty Putin cronies have laundered a lot of money through purchases of Trump condos and golf memberships and more, which in turn has helped keep Trump's business solvent. It's GENERALLY not a good thing for a U.S. President to be compromised by the country's chief adversary! Tends not to be in the best interests of this country.

The whole premise of this investigation is that it is searching for a crime. They didn't start with a crime and investigate.
Our country has fallen into a sad state of affairs when we allow things like this to happen.

...................and in my opinion a lot of those "toothless hillbillies" are much better people than an unscrupulous, elitist lawyer who looks down his nose at them. They are certainly more trustworthy. I wouldn't trust a lawyer in a sh!thouse with a muzzle on.

As I said earlier, they either clear him or charge him with colluding with the Russians. Some charges for financial crap not associated with the election will lead to the constitutional crisis VP always railed on about.

Typical comment from the elitist coastal people that look down on us "flyover" types. Excellent reply BTW.

I'll take a toothless hillbilly over a lawyer any day, you can trust a hillbilly.

You, sir, are too stupid for words at times. Go take your Geritol and eat some brain food and try again.

You guys keep insisting it's not a crime. She didn't win. It's relevant to Trump because he won and perhaps with help from Russia. Had she won, and you had information that she had gotten help from the Russians, you'd be screaming bloody murder.

Own up. If you were Vladimir Putin, who would you rather have as President?
A) Someone that was bought and paid for through donations and could be bought.
B) Someone that was already filthy rich that you couldn't influence.

That didn't answer the question.

Dystexil? Me & me both.
;)

You may wish to remember those two, and the level at which the bar was set.

He lied about sex....ina SEXUAL harassment lawsuit. How anyone doesn't see that as a crime is beyond me. You would think the party, who claims to be the champions for women's rights, would have been outraged. Guaranteed if Clinton were a Republican the outrage from the left would have been deafening
