TrumPutinGate

That doesn't mean he's corrupt or slimy or a liar blah blah blah. He made judgment calls in an unusual situation which people didn't like.

One way or the other it was going to tick a bunch of people off. That's how life is sometimes.

He decided / took it upon himself to declare Hillary innocent .. that’s not his job . The FBI doesn’t hand down guilt or innocent verdicts . He did the same think again to his other boss ( Trump ) and took it upon himself to leak government records to his friend with instructions to leak to the media . He had an Ego problem and thinks he knows best even if he has to break his oath to do it or go outside his job scope to get it done . That’s beyond judgement calls .

Wait, who is it that decides whether the government has enough evidence to charge someone with a crime?

LG, historically speaking how successful has this counterintelligence investigation been?

If I understand your question, i don't see how we can know that right now. Too much is unknown.'

The fact that we've seen a number of people express skepticism of it and loyalty to Trump, only to then seem to try to distance themselves from Trump, even if it means an end to their careers, and even if they are Republicans, suggests strongly to me that there is truly something there.

According to Lg a person in a position that high should remember everything that he says. So even LG says Comey is a liar.

That's not true. That is your mischaracterization of what I said relative to Flynn.

I said it is hard to believe that Flynn would have forgotten the contents of a call with a Russian ambassador, just two months or so before being questioned, where his own words were read back to him. You compared that -- unreasonably -- to Comey not remembering details about things some 3 years before. Especially where the import would not have been so important at the time.

But, your President is a fraud. He routinely misstates what people have said and distorts the truth to make very poorly reasoned points. No reason for you to be any different.

Our president 🙄

Also this is what you said.

QUOTE="lawgator1, post: 16206342, member: 2070"]It's hard to imagine a national security advisor, someone trained in the area and aware of the efforts of the Russians generally to turn anyone they talk to would not remember his conversations vividly.

As in, impossible to believe he forgot what was said.[/QUOTE]

Context matters. They are not the same thing. But you know that.

Your using wikipedia for evidence? Lol

Well just a little common sense tells me that wiping phones of investigators no matter what they're investigating is a red flag. If they were investigating Trump and wiped the phones clean wouldn't that also say there's no evidence against him? Or, are they wiping the one sided and political affiliation part of the investigation.

Many questions with no answers, yet.

Comey oversaw/approved phone wiping? That's news to me.

That's who's conduct we had been discussing.

Sure, there's been mistakes during the course of the investigation, but that doesn't undermine the weight of evidence emerging.

Wow...

Destroying evidence against Clinton doesn't undermine the weight of evidence emerging?

Withholding (302) evidence that would have been beneficial to Flynn doesn't undermine the weight of the evidence emerging?

Begging the court not to force him to actually try a case he indicted because he didn't want to submit evidence he supposedly had?

Ironic response seeing that Mueller's various "mistakes" have been more about covering things up than exposing them.

It does. Do you believe that his memory has degraded so badly over the last two years that he wasn’t able to recall 245 events?

Is Comey a liar?

And that it degraded so many in that time that he could write a tell all book?
