Really? That's not what I heard when he refused to prosecute Hillary or when he reopened the case against her just before the election, or when he had his "friend" leak his notes on meetings with Trump to the media. No one was calling Comey "corrupt" or a "liar" until it became apparent the FBI was investigating Trump.
Funny how that works.

Have you forgotten these 3 days in October of that same year? You forget July 2016?

October 27, 2016: Comey held a meeting with the Clinton e-mail investigation team at the FBI to discuss obtaining a search warrant for a set of Clinton-related e-mails the FBI had discovered on Anthony Weiner's laptop.
October 28, 2016: Comey wrote to Congress saying, "In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of e-mails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation." The Clinton campaign strongly objects to this letter... as does Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
October 30, 2016: Prosecutors obtained a search warrant to begin reviewing Weiner's laptop for e-mails related to the Clinton investigation.
Now, if James Comey was biased against the Trump campaign, as has been claimed, why did he send that letter to Congress (which he obviously knew would be leaked), 11 days prior to the election? Donald Trump even publicly applauded this letter and the re-opening of the Clinton e-mail investigation, so soon before the election.

If he was angling to keep his job as FBI Director, following a Clinton victory, sending that letter to Congress on October 28, 2016 made no sense. If he was angling to keep his job as FBI Director, following a Trump victory, then the best way to do that would have been to call the dogs off of Michael Flynn like Trump wanted him to do... It's hard to find where Comey's actions were corrupt prior to his firing in May of 2017... Now, I suppose you could argue (though I would ask for specifics) that he has lied after his firing and that was motivated out of animosity/spite towards Trump, but there is just no evidence of that.I think he was angling for something.

So I was calling him a self righteous dumbass over reaching his authority on the initial Hillary “investigation” results and figured his days were numbered regardless who won from that day onward. Ok the second one just before the election I just knew the egotistical bastard has to be done then.No one was calling Comey "corrupt" until it became apparent the FBI was investigating Trump.

He was the most hated person in DC by the Dims at the end of Nov 2016. You don’t recall much, agreed.Sure, he made people mad (some of them still are) in his handling of the email investigation. People said it violated DoJ protocols and such.
But I don't recall the critics impugning his character over it.
Maybe I'm wrong. I wasn't hanging out at I'mwithher dot com.
