Per Carl Bernstein in Newsweek, Mueller's report is going to show in explicit detail how Donald Trump "helped Vladimir Putin destabilize the United States." Take that for what it's worth... Damn, that sounds bad if true.

I understand that you don't want to believe what he says and you may not care what he thinks... but have you seriously never heard of him? The Watergate reporting by the Washington Post or the book by Robert Woodward and the movie "All the President's Men" (he was played by Dustin Hoffman) ... Wow.

I would be hoping that is not what is actually contained in the Mueller report if I was a Trump supporter... I don't think Mueller spent a year and a half of his life on this to bull $hit people and I don't think he would say something so bold without ample evidence to prove it. I would be hoping that Bernstein is simply wrong if I were you (I'm assuming that you support the Trump presidency).

…..and Bernstein has been Trump bashing for 2 solid years on CNN or MSNBC, or one of the anti-Trump networks. He is nothing but a left wing hack, masquerading as an unbiased reporter.

Been around for all the other breathtaking revelations that turned out to be flops.

Show me the charges that he’s chased down that have anything to do with Trump?? He’s been on an open ended expedition to discredit trump. Nothing that implicates trump in anything.

Just because your imagination runs wild with possibilities doesn’t make any of it true.

Also, I don’t think much of mueller, and I doubt he’s been doing the Lord’s work this past year and a half, if you know what I mean.

The difference here is obvious... this is something actually in the Mueller report which is what we have been waiting for - the end game, if you will. And this has nothing to do with my imagination, this is something that Carl Bernstein (Google him, if you have never heard of him, incredibly not everyone has apparently.) has reported. Once again, I would be hoping that he is wrong. If that is in the Mueller report, it's bad. It's hard to see Trump being reelected if that is in fact the case.

...and I would put the credibility of Mueller and his service to his country above Trump's any day.

I think Mueller's team is probably going to start leaking their findings to a selected few members of the press in order to remove the possibility that the new Attorney General Bill Barr, could fire him before it's complete. The Mueller team also doesn't want the Trump White House to suppress any portion of the report from the media once it's released. They want the full report out in the public and to be read by everyone. It makes perfect sense that a Watergate reporter (the one who hasn't written a book about Trump) would be one of the members of the press that they would trust. I think Bernstein is telling the truth.

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl said his sources “interacting with” special counsel Robert Mueller’s team said Mueller’s forthcoming report was “almost certain to be anti-climactic.”

And there have been expectations that have been building, of course, for over a year on this. But people who are closest to what Mueller has been doing, interacting with the special counsel caution me that this report is almost certain to be anti-climactic. If you look at what the FBI was investigating in that New York Times report, you look at what they were investigating, Mueller did not go anywhere with that investigation. He has been writing his report in real time through these indictments and we have seen nothing from Mueller on the central question of, was there any coordination, collusion, with the Russians in the effort to meddle in the elections? Or was there even any knowledge on the part of the president or anybody in his campaign with what the Russians were doing, there’s been no indication of that …

STEPHANOPOULOS: They hadn’t laid that out yet in the indictments but how do things like the Trump Tower meeting with Russians, Don Jr., Paul Manafort, Paul Manafort giving polling data to Ukrainian oligarchs, the pursuit of a Trump Tower in Moscow. How does that fit into this theory?

KARL: What we’ve certainly seen over and over again is the people around the president, first of all, have been willing to lie to investigators, and had their own dealings with Russians, had their own agendas with Russians. And Manafort was trying to get paid for his work on behalf of Ukraine. Flynn had his own dealings. But it is not added up to anything of the central question, again, was there anybody – was the Trump campaign aware of or coordinating with the Russians in their effort to meddle with the election. So far there’s been nothing on that and I’m led to believe don’t expect there’s going to be any.​
