Be careful when stepping in puddles, you never truly know the depth.
Mueller was given wide latitude so I have no worries at all on the scope of the investigation. He finds what he is led to find.
A process crime is a process crime and lying to the FBI and congress is a crime. (remember Starr-Clinton)
If he finds zero evidence of collusion then that's what he finds. If along the way he also finds multiple other offenses, so be it. Prosecute them to the fullest.
If he finds that Trump has knowingly surrounded himself with lying criminals, many of whom have questionable ties to Russia, that is something the public should know.
So far the FBI/DOJ has come nowhere near as close to overstepping their bounds as did the Starr investigation. (the one that the repubs. gleefully encouraged and politicized)

They are not the same. Period. I'm very cool with what the Hillary camp did and you know why, they didn't do anything illegal. So are you cool with what the Trump camp did? Me being cool about something is irrelevant in the eyes of the law. You pop in every few months, quickly put on your red hat and immediately lose any credibility. The mueller investigation being a witch hunt is a farce you choose to believe. I could care less about HC (not my team). You take offense when someone criticizes Trump, throw out the redhat mantra of but hillary, and expect people to believe you're not a Trump nut jockey. Please.

BTW I have said numerous times that Manafort could be the depths of russia's infiltration of the Trump Campaign. Based on what we know, Manafort had the blessings of the President to share the polling data or engaged in espionage for the Russians.

Comey's reputation was shot the moment he handed Trump the election. He did some damage control by refusing to be a Trump puppet.

What do you mean two years of nothing? Just today Rudy basically said: "well, I didn't mean there was no collusion. I just meant Trump didn't collude. So they're getting prepared for bad news. Not to mention several indictments and four prison sentences handed down. And no, people have not lost interest.

That's the same thing Maggie Haberman of the NY Times noted. It's always made to look like rudy is just an idiot saying stupid stuff, but they're actually trying to get ahead of the story so they can better finesse it when it finally comes out. Just like they did with Stormy.

Even if he somehow survives these investigations, he's going to be an albatross around their necks for cycles into the future. It will be just too easy to quote GOPers running for reelection supporting the guy, then play video of him lying repeatedly, changing his story, and on and on.

They stick with him because the Republican base would rather vote for a Russian asset than a Democrat. Anything to own the libs.
