Could he do the job? Probably. But in a nation of 300+ million, I think we can find someone younger. Why take that risk?

BTW I have said numerous times that Manafort could be the depths of russia's infiltration of the Trump Campaign. Based on what we know, Manafort had the blessings of the President to share the polling data or engaged in espionage for the Russians.
