TrumPutinGate

If true I would support his removal. What I do find interesting is the few posters who are for his removal, if this is true, who thought it ridiculous to remove Clinton for actually committing perjury. Looking at you LG.
It's all about whether or not it rises to the level of impeachment (Clinton's lie evidently did) and removal from office (Clinton's lie evidently did not).
Congress will decide (while considering the will of the people) the level to which this (and all of the other things both in and out of the pipeline) rises. Is it impeachable and does it warrant removal from office?
How does lying about a sexual affair with an intern compare with instructing your lawyer to lie to congress about your business dealings with Russia? Each individual will decide.

In your gut, how likely do you think it is that Cohen is telling the truth about this? Just your opinion.
So funny how now you all on the far left believe everything Cohen says. So to recap some heroes to you all lately: A porn star, a pervert lawyer for a porn star and a lying scumbag lawyer. But hey, anything to get the President right?

He lied about a sexual affair, which is quite frankly sexual harrasment due to her being a subordinate, in a sexual harrasment lawsuit. That’s the definition of abuse of office. But we dont need to rehash that debate.

It just seems to expose a lack of consistency. If proven true Trump should be removed.

I can agree with this.

Two you just listed are people the POTUS chose to cheat on his wife with and defend him legally as his right hand man.
Fine judge of character our POTUS is.

I'm curious if anyone will defend this.
I guess some will claim Cohen is the liar and Trump is the teller of truth.

The allegation that the President of the United States may have suborned perjury before our committee in an effort to curtail the investigation and cover up his business dealings with Russia is among the most serious to date. We will do what’s necessary to find out if it’s true.

Sometimes, when you need the image, you're all about letting the evidence come out and supporting the conclusion, but the real clear luther is on display most of the time.

If Trump told Cohen to lie to Congress I would think everyone here would agree Trump should be impeached and convicted.

Agreed. I guess my question is, is the burden of prove on trump or Cohen? It should be on Cohen, but that really isn’t how this works anymore.

I think Cohen will say anything, doubt there is any proof to this. Heck I have my doubts about the entire story. Way too many leaks have later been shown to be BS.

I can't help but notice more unnamed sources. And I can't help but remember too many damning stories that were later quietly corrected.

The story does not rely on Cohen. Buzzfeeds sources are law enforcement officials and the evidence cited, at least in part, is documentary in nature.

The thing about self-referential morality is that it tends to also be self-agreeable morality.

And we have heard that story how many times?

These are the same guys who broke the original story in May that the Trump tower Moscow deal went forward for much of the campaign, contrary to prior claims. That was proven true. Find these two guys authoring stories that were debunked.
