These are the same guys who broke the original story in May that the Trump tower Moscow deal went forward for much of the campaign, contrary to prior claims. That was proven true. Find these two guys authoring stories that were debunked.

Pardon me for skepticism of the mainstream media after they as a whole have cried wolf far too many times. The very fact that they would print a story of that magnitude tells me they have parted with historical journalistic rules of integrity.

If we get some serious proof that Trump asked his lawyer to perjure himself, I'll be in full support of his impeachment and removal from office. It'll take more than you've provided as proof.

The story does not rely on Cohen. Buzzfeeds sources are law enforcement officials and the evidence cited, at least in part, is documentary in nature.

Pence won't come under criminal investigation. He's a religious zealot which IMO is worse than being a common criminal if you're the POTUS.

They're anonymous sources. Anonymous sources have been used forever in journalism. I'm not going to get into this debate again. I had it a few nights ago in connection with Greg Miller's story in WaPo. The reporter, if he's worth his salt, knows who the sources are, typically has a prior relationship, has multiple sources, and does further vetting of both the sources and the story that's being told. Could he have been fed lies? Possibly, but I look at these guys track record and it's pretty good.

Even if the award were something to be trusted, it was given to him for covering the AIDS epidemic in Africa almost 20 years ago. EL is asking us to make the illogical leap that he covered an AIDS epidemic in Africa almost 20 years ago with the same ethics that he's covering Donald Trump today. This is in the circus that we see major news organizations blatantly admitting hate and amanous of Trump as well as his very investigators doing the same in official capacities and on official devices.

He may have done an admirable job for African AIDS victims 20 years ago. This isn't a climate where I give him the benefit of the doubt that he's giving unbiased coverage of Agent Orange.
