Tucker Carlson Obsession Thread (merged)

Seriously ... why is it so important to you guys that the Capitol breach of 1/6/21 be portrayed as having been mostly peaceful?

It does not bother me in the least when ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter activists, who raid federal buildings, are denounced as thugs and trash ... with their actions described in the harshest terms. It is very odd how personally some of you take this.

Yet, those protestors sure didn't spend much time in prison or confinement. They can be denounced all they'll never face any real consequences. I believe you know this and have problems turning a blind eye to it

I'm curious what kind of answers will be provided..............if any.

Tuesday, March 7 Scoreboard: Fox News Gaining Viewers During Turbulent Week

Tucker Carlson drew 4.14 Million viewers, a massive delivery for a regularly scheduled news program.
^^^^ This ^^^^ is what I was talking about earlier.

Tucker Carlson is just telling you what he thinks you want to hear, even when he doesn't actually believe it himself, because that is good for his ratings .... and you celebrate him for it.

That is an epic level of pathetic.

That wasn't violence. You can call it a protest or even a mostly peaceful angry mob but there's no need to miscategorize it as violent

140 injured cops beg to differ. If it wasn't violent, why was Hawley running for his life? He should have turned around and had a cup of coffee with the insurrectionists breaking into the capitol that he had just encouraged an hour earlier. But he didn't, he ran away.

By the end of June 2020, at least 14,000 people had been arrested.

Injuries like ankles, bruises, etc?

I can't explain why some are cowards.

Because it's a lie. I believe the truth is there was a few bad people and there was some people just following along and didn't realize how much trouble they could get in and then there was some undercover people to make the Maga look really bad. This was no insurrection or government takeover if it was there would have been guns and death it was a protest that ended up inside the capital but people didn't burn our wreck the capital like the left did to st John's church when it was caught on fire.

Because of the way those protests you list were portrayed all across the national media and how anyone who dared call them out was labeled. If you disagree you were shouted down, harassed, and constantly called a racist, trash, etc. There was also every attempt made to hunt down and punish dissent. You don't get to play pretend like that for a couple years and then get all haughty when someone dares confront the same system. You changed the definitions now live with it

The effort to hunt down and prosecute everyone who died up that day is a govt sponsored witch hunt. We should all fear giving them that much power

Not surprisingly I see it as the almost complete opposite.

For two years the right wing could only scream about the riots, violence, and lawlessness of BLM protest while ignoring the fact that the vast majority of protests and protestors were 100% peaceful.
The right was in full support of the police and lambasted anyone who spoke against the actions of the police.

Then comes Jan. 6th..................

The right is now screaming that it was mostly peaceful with very little violence and lawlessness.
The right is questioning the actions of the Capital police and the leadership of DC.

Complete 180.........hypocrisy at its finest.

Watch the video up above for God's sake .... It was violent as all living hell ...

.... and if you dispute that? I will post 10 more videos of it. It was violent.
Far less violent than videos we saw at federal buildings in Seattle and elsewhere. I see selective outrage and prosecution.
