Turkey: Our NATO Ally

That would be a great argument if I ever established a position on the matter. Hope you feel the same about all countries trying "to tell us how to think"(Russia).

Let me educate Mick.

Since nationhood began a few thousand years ago, nations have been trying to influence other nations. That won't change.

I doubt Mick objected when Obama meddled in Israel's elections a few years ago.

Considering that this is a sovereign decision, what Israel wants is the only thing that matters.

What does what Israel want have to do with Jerusalem anyways? Jerusalem isn't a part of Israel anyways...

Or are we going to ignore the original UN partition?

Waging un-ending war has consequences. Next you're going to want Germany to have all of its lost territory returned.

Why did Obama stab Israel in the back just before he left office with that UN resolution that declared that east Jerusalem is "occupied" territory? What was broken? Why did Obama have to stir the pot and incite more violence and hatred against our Israeli friends?

Seventeen people were wounded by Israeli army gunfire, medics said, when Palestinian protests erupted in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip on Thursday after the United States recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

I guess this is some of the "good".

Violence is their response to everything. If it wasn't, they too would be getting ready to celebrate the 70th anniversary of their nation, in their capital of east Jerusalem.

Does this apply to NK and what about our other allies? Is what they want the only thing that matters as well? Considering that they are also sovereign nations.

If they haven't been able to do so before now it wasn't theirs.

Dude, seriously what?

worried about Palestinian protests in Israel? I guess this gives them another excuse besides the day ending in "y".

we made it clear from the start there may not be any "good" but not sure how not respecting a sovereign nation's peaceful decision is a bad thing?

I'm glad we decided to put our sovereign embassy in the middle of a volatile s**t hole at the request of ONE sovereign ally over the rest of our other Sovereign allies.

In essence, regardless of what allies wanted what from the US, we are going to move our embassy to a volatile holy s**t hole.

if that is where the host country wants us do we even have a say? is it worth arguing with them?

Let me ask you, do you believe Israel should revert to it's pre-1967 borders? And, if so, why should they be compelled to do so? And what, if anything, should the Palestinians give in return?

The Israeli military says it struck targets in the Gaza Strip in response to projectiles fired at Israel.

The military says that a projectile exploded Thursday in southern Israel, in addition to two earlier ones launched from Gaza which fell short and landed in the Palestinian territory.

I guess Mick is hiding under his desk.
