Usually I just buy the westerns I want on Amazon streaming, and or the dvd, blurays....they cheap and in teh bargain bins at stores a lot.

What upsets me is there is not much recent western TV material that my 11 yr old can watch. Old shows lack of HD and widescreen are distracting to him, he starts complaining about how old it looks, and most new stuff is too adult. We got a generation of kids that don't know cowboys.

I have made a point to watch classics with him though. The Searchers, The good the Bad The ugly, Hondo, Hot Lead Cold Feet, the Apple Dumpling Gang....

The Searchers came at a good time, cause the public school system was doing it's best to make it sound like all injuns were innocent angels.

He did watch the Adventures of Brisco County Junior with me some. That's the last decent sorta western that you can watch with your kid.

Clearly I have more work to do. Still that and a road trip to Alamogordo 3 years back got a lil cowboy in him.

Oh and I guess we watched Valdez is Coming, and Quigly down under before I had my Sharpes day at the range.......my shoulder still aches.

I just suggested we watch Christmas vacation tonight. I don't think my bunch is in the mood for Christmas movies yet. Black Adam is on Vudu, but I heard it sucks.

Yeah it's been on Tuner for a week. I clicked it and put the arrow about half way through the movie to get a feel for it. It looked terrible.

You all laugh, but super pets was a pretty good movie 🤣. Watching back to the future now, these two kids haven't seen it!

I'm watching the Santa Clauses episode 1. There's a flash back to the first one where the little girl leaves him soy milk. The little girl is like 5.

In this he goes down a chimney and here's this grown woman. It's her.

But it hits home when he says "that was 28 years ago".
