Of all the good/great Vol QBs, how many have started several years in the NFL besides Peyton? We would love to have a QB good enough to start in the NFL again.

None that I can recall. Peyton was it.

Other than Peyton Manning, we haven't had another QB in the past 60 years do as much in the league as these 4 guys in the League....

intriguing, but what's our sales pitch? If my count is right, next year, assuming no transfers, we'll have one 5* and 3 4* QB's all w/ good pedigree, and our development of QB's hasn't been stellar...or our decision on playing the right QB either. All that being said, let him come on and MAYBE at some point, we'll find someone where the opportunity isn't too big for them.

You serious Clark? the pitch is our qb play for four years has been ****. Yeah, we've got two young guys, but they are fresh as daisies, and if you're as good as you think you are, you should start day one.

Said he talked to Walt Wells, who played against him and Wells said Zappe had moxie, was really impressive, did some trash talking. Said he should be a P5 quarterback.

Haha everyone of them has significant starting experience and is still in the league. I’d take a QB right now that is talented enough to start in the NFL for multiple years and still be quality backups.

Yeah you are right. I remembered him after I wrote that. He did have a long career but I’m not sure he started a bunch of games.
