'20 TX QB Haynes King (TAMU Commit)

My first UT game was in Neyland in 1997 vs UGA. Jamal Lewis rushed for 231 yards and the Vols won 38-13. It was a great day.
my first game was UT v the Citadel at the Liberty bowl, circa 1982.

i'm old.

but for the majority of my life TN has been winning and competing for conf championships and top 10 finishes and have been more than nationally relevant.

i'd like to spend hte remainder of my life that way and just make the last decade a distant memory.

My first game that I can recall was against Notre Dame Andy Kelly was the QB. Sat in the lower level between the 40 -30 yard line. I am trying to remember if I went to a game earlier than that.

It comes and goes in cycles. I remember when Manning finally beat Bama after a 10 year losing streak in 95 I think. My first game was the South Carolina game that year. My second game was 98 Florida when we finally kicked their butt. I was in X5 row 38. We couldn't get to the field for 30 minutes after the rush because there were so many on the field. That was really mid glory days. Andy Kelly and definitely Shuler started the change with winning consistently. Let's hope we can get a string of great college quarterbacks and offensive linemen. That's how the change occurred back then. Looks to be what is going on now recruiting wise.

Interesting, that with him making a decision today that there hasn't been more crystal ball movement. Leads me to believe that there is quite a bit of uncertainty in what he might do.

Wow was looking at the different schools on his list on 247...Arkansas has 8 scholarship qbs on their roster and one committed for '20! By contrast we have 3 with one committed.
