'20 TX QB Haynes King (TAMU Commit)

I guess it all depends on whether you believe that the staff was upfront with HB about their intentions to take 2 QBs. If they were, and he has stayed committed in spite of it, I don’t see where he can suddenly be disappointed if King commits when he always knew it was a probability we’d take a 2nd guy.
agreed, and it's not like the recruitment of King is brand new, and he's being blind sided just this week or anything. i would imagine if there were any real issues between HB and the staff regarding any of this.......................he probably wouldn't have been on campus last weekend helping recruit, again.

He has said he knew. The question is did he think he was "their man" with a backup plan, and now would he wonder if he might be their backup plan.

It still will be...

Just a quick drive by as I've not been on for a while, but I don't want this kid. He may be talented and you never know who will pan out with QBs, but I don't want anything risking our chance with Bailey. Bailey seems to be trending up winning MVP at the 5 star challenge so I'm willing to roll the dice on him until the 2021 class.
We simply cannot be afraid someone is going to leave if we recruit someone else who may help us. That is not the way it's going to work. If they have told him he will be the only one they offer, then that's a different story, but I don't think that is the case.
