Wasn’t Peyton the no.1 recruit though? Each situation is different. Like in a debate of Fields v Lawrence I was always with Lawrence. In that instance mobility doesn’t matter because TL is such a good passer.
Difference in this Bailey vs king situation is that bailey isn’t nearly that level passer. Stats also aren’t close and Bailey hasn’t won in high school like Lawrence, manning or king. He’s good not great. King looks like he might be great so I’m hoping we get him.
Let’s put this on the table for you guys.
1-HB isn’t immobile he is a 4.7 kid not a track kid so he hasn’t spent 100’s of hour learns to run a 40 yard dash. A.Glibert ran the same 40 time as HB. He plays in a Pro style offense in High School. No reason to have to run when you can simply shuffle up or to the side and drop a dime.
2- He played THE 7th toughest schedule in all of High school football last year per MaxPreps. While avg 330 yds per game and 4 tds. With his offensive line giving up an avg 45 pounds per contest.
3- Good chance his team wins state if he doesn’t break his collarbone in the first half of the 9th game of the season!
4- He has played some the toughest completion in America while averaging 300 yds a game and 63% comp percentage for his career.
5- Go to his game tape every team we play he has to throw passes into 6 to 8 man coverages. Every team has 1 game plan when they play Marietta it’s to stop the pass. Not many can! If you avg 35 points a game and the D gives up 40 it’s the QBs fault?
These empty comparisons of King, Manning and T.Lawrence are stupid. HBs stats ARE BETTER than T. Lawrence with HB playing way way tougher comp! Btw if HB plays 15 games this year and hits his avg he will miss T.Lawrance’s all-time passing record by around 800 to 900 yds while playing in 20 less games. So you say HB isn’t and elite passer. STATS don’t lie or have an opinion Sir!
Go to MaxPreps and do some research before you make stupid statements
