'20 TX QB Haynes King (TAMU Commit)

Haynes needs to do what's best for him, obviously it's be nice to have two QBs of this caliber in this class but if we miss out on King I'm more than comfortable with signing HB. Bailey is a legit top 5 player this class.

That is how I feel about every single recruit. Would love them to pick us, but they need to do what's best for themselves, and if they pick someone else, we will be okay with the next one.

I doubt any of the competitors were throwing it "on a line" if the goal is max distance. They're all throwing it at about the same angle, so ~same distance means ~same ball speed means ~same arm strength.
Ok. Even if they weren’t throwing it on a line it doesn’t matter. My point is which ever ball has more power behind it and gets there faster usually indicates who has the stronger arm

Both have strong arms. I think King is probably a little stronger but less polished but its close in arm strength. Besides arm strength isnt everything Jamarcus Russell and Jeff George had ridiculous arm strength but sucked as NFL QBs; there have been plenty of college QB with ridiculously strong arms but sucked at the position.

I honestly believe Bailey could step in and push for a starting position his first year.

Ditto...even Tom Brady doesn't have an extremely strong arm but look at where his other skills/traits have gotten him.

If they are throwing at similar angles, similar distances, neither will get there materially faster. Nobody is throwing 60 yard darts 10 feet off the ground.
