That's where Tennessee could possibly come into play. Pruitt is probably going to go after Graham for to replace Johnson. Evans visited Tennessee earlier this year and really liked it. If he isn't stuck with UGA and Graham comes to Tennessee...this could get interesting.

Apparently UGA keeps the spot if they void his LOI. If they force him into the portal they lose it.

I'm hearing from Ga fans that this kid has been in trouble a few times and Ga has decided not to pursue him because of his most recent incident

Could be, but I don't see why that'd be a loophole. I'm only aware of 2: head coaching change or career ending injury/illness prior to team activities.

Part of the newer rules I thought was to keep schools from taking questionable kids, then dropping them. Thought that's why Mullen couldn't get all those spots back last year. If it was as easy as releasing the kids from their LOIs, then they would have done that and there would be no risk to just signing every questionable kid on NSD.

UGA could dent the LOI appeal waiver by Evans and force him to enter the portal, but they’d lose the spot if they did. 247 is saying Fromm is likely to leave, so I guess they want that spot for a grad transfer at QB. That or they don’t want the bad publicity from sticking it to Evans, though I’m sure some ppl wouldn’t mind seeing them hold him accountable.

He can't go "into the portal" until he is enrolled in school and completed one semester (or equivalent i.e. both summer sessions) Nothing is going to keep him from enrolling in another school. Jusy fyi.
