I can’t help but feel like this is one of those dudes that gets arrested and kicked off the team by March. I mean he’s talented but feels like a risky take.

What has this kid done for this stupid ass take? He's a circus show with recruiting but nothing says he's a criminal you moran.

I really hope we can land this kid… sometimes all it takes is for one or two big time elite prospects to go to a school and produce and make it “cool” to go to a certain place.

I do think the offense we showed this year will open eyes, and I think us winning 7 and unbiasly being a legit few plays from 9-3 will also open eyes. But it’s always takes a few big time guys to jump on board to make it cool for others to follow.

ok you’re right bad example in the arrested and kicked off team comment. That was an extreme way of expressing concern for the unpredictability and drama that has seemed to be part of his recruitment since high school. But you right on the arrest thing bad expression.

Not worth all this time and effort.. he’s special but RB’s are going to be in the portal all winter.. go get someone hungry with something to prove, that doesn’t have a snap count, and isn’t going to the highest bidder
But we’re not really in the know of HOW MUCH “time and effort”. Our coaches know and Evans knows…no one else. And yes I’m including Austin.

Not really. He’s obviously a me first guy and those types usually make bone head decisions at some point because they are selfish and self centered. At the least, this personality type typically turns out to be a cancer in the program. For a case study see Tyon Evans.

The cheapskate bums around this program 🤦‍♂️
You’d think that NIL deals would motivate the wealthy boosters. You’d think they’d see it as an opportunity to close the gap with Georgia, Bama, etc. Obviosuly idk everything that’s going on up there, but it seems we’re behind in that regard. Maybe if heupel can knock off one of Florida, Georgia, or Bama next year, and win like 9-10 games we will start to see the boosters get more involved

😂😂😂😂 kid has been the team leader at TCU no incidents at all and you're making stupid assumptions and calling the kid me 1st and don't have a damn clue who he is.

So with our NIL deals sucking and Lebby leaving Ole piss, what’s the deal with Zach? Is there someone else in on it? How long he gonna let this thing go?

This is why there are schools being investigated already. Coaches can't get involved with NIL offers and deals. Particularly with prospective players. Our staff has to walk on egg shells in these matters right now.
Great point. May be smart to be cautious since we are going through a NCAA investigation at the moment

Eh at the point, he can just go to OM. He sounds like way too much of a headache especially for a 1 year rental. If he wants insane NIL deals then he can stay at TCU

I get that money is a big deal to these kids as many don’t come from much. But it’s craziness to me that people are sitting down with coaches and only discussing money and that being the sole decision maker. So if we offer $250k, lifelong connections from being a VFL, and great development to get to the league and you turn us down because someone else offers 500k then the kids are getting bad advice. My neighbor was standing next to Peyton at Al’s induction and he barely played at UT but he is a VFL and has many connections.
