I get that Quinn Ewers hasn’t played yet, but he had the highest QB recruiting ranking on 247 since Vince Young, one of two perfect scores ever. It’s not like he’s a big unknown. He could attend UT with a proven QB and leave after a good year for the draft, or attend Texas with no guarantee at QB and be stuck for a few seasons.
Yeah I don't get this one at all either. Maybe a combination of NIL plus folks in his ear telling him to stay with the home school (and I'm sure Texas probably did something for them). We can't get traction with anyone in the portal. Texas' offense is horrid and our receivers are all putting up huge numbers, and we still can't land this guy

and being close to homeAlso...let's be real it's not about what offense he plays in....it's about the NiL.
Then I think you have to choose one of us dedicated fanatics to go to one game with you. And I think it’s me. I promise to not wear a cheerleading suit to embarrass you!I’ve been on the sidelines. And he brings even random neighbors who aren’t Vols fans on the sideline. He’s trying to convert a couple Noles fans and they were on the sideline for two games this year. More than I got to go to. One of his best friends is Al so I’m sure that helps. He knows everyone. He was in the box at the Braves game that the baseball coaches were at, sat in Fulmers box for BYU game and others, he got a call from Pruitt when they reached out to former players for support, etc…
A “washed” coach who just got four WR’s drafted in the first round and had a true freshman AA last year with a couple of JAG’s throwing him the ball. Rag on Sark all you want as a head coach but he’s got a lot to sell to offensive skill positions. He's never played a meaningful snap and he's playing for a washed coach. He's an unknown.
