'19 TX WR Isaiah Neyor

Man, y'all gotta stop giving Bama assistants credit for what their players do. Sark is Texas' version of Pruitt.
Then read the rest of my post again. Texas had a true freshman WR catch 62 for 981 with 12 TD’s last year. And that was with a revolving door of two mediocre QB’s.

I’m not at all saying Heupel and Tennesse didn’t have a lot to offer as well. It’s just this idea that there’s no football reason a WR would want to go play at Texas next year is silly.

But they’re blowing it in the portal. There’s just no other way to say it.

It's a competitive sport. You win some, you lose some.

I'm not sure where to go with that statement once made. Does that mean we trash our coaches and get them on the hotseat? The last ~15 years should be lesson enough that that doesn't work. I think simply letting them have their space and slowly build this thing is the only reasonable approach.

Give them 3/4 years and see where we are. Even that may be too little time...

To think this came down to Sark vs Heupel is VERY naive, this came down to NIL and being close to Mom and Pop

I was told by Vol Nation we're recruiting too much offense and need to use our spots entirely on defense. Now we're in meltdown mode about offense. I'm not worried at all. We'll pick up another stud WR to replace him. This literally changes nothing on offense.

A. You should know that I’m not advocating for them being on the hotseat or trashing our coaches. And I know you don’t win them all, but they’ve only won one in this transfer cycle. And this is one you should have won.

B. I am saying they need to re-evaluate their approach to the portal. No matter how they are building, the portal has to be a part of it (and it could really help us in the short and long term).

I’m not panicking and I’m definitely not blaming the coaches. I’ve been expecting this since his visit and he did everything he could to avoid saying he was coming here despite Austin shaking him down but I was hoping to be wrong. In Heupel I trust on the offensive side. Just need Calloway to stay and step up.

Lose to Purdue without their best players

Lose out on every guy we want in a transfer market with over 1000 guys in it

Our roster is worse now

Florida and LSU are losses at this point

I hate Neyor

Should have won this one? This guy was going to Texas as soon as they put the moves on.
