He will put up his best numbers here. He will also have his best exposure here. I can't speak to his development, but I can't imagine he'd get more out of practicing at USC or Texas than he would actually starting and putting up stats at Tennessee. He's in our rotation the second he shows up for practice. He's going to stretch the field, he's going to get open.
If he goes to USC he'll be in the wash for a year while they work their transitions out.
If he goes to Texas he'll be jumping right into some roster shuffling while they get their feet under them as well.
While they are traditionally seen as prestige programs, he would not be the prestige player there.
At Tennessee we already transitioned staff, roster, system. He's plug and play. More like plug and flourish.
Makes a lot of sense, hope he sees the vision and doesn't buy into "dude, it's SoCal" or "Texas is home, son"
