At this point, Who aren't we fighting? I don't even know why we're trying to kill terrorist, like cockroaches, you cant kill them all. People always forget that war is an angry, brutal fight. We need to stop policing the world and start fighting our wars, or we need to leave.

You make good points.

But dude, nine children and three women! You can't in your right mind justify that.

That's not the point.

Civilians shouldn't be shot at all costs.

Especially since this was a rogue mission.

Then the soldier in question should be executed for treason. You don't ever kill the women and children! Let the Mongols do that.

Who are these people that forget that you speak of? Sure It's a sh!thole and we can use our resources elsewhere. The fact that ol' bin is dead makes it all worth while. That was boooshes greatest accomplishment. Our president now had nothing to do with it.

"At my command the order was given.."

What the f'k ever dude.

I totally agree with you about bin. Bush got rid of the biggest despot in the world, and the biggest terrorist leader. Bush had Bin Laden's location nailed, but he was never able to get the order in. I'm mainly talking our age group. My Age group is borderline retarded in California. They're thinking about saving trees and giving gays rights they already have!

You also know that we're trying to get out of there. We can't just leave like we did Iraq. That was a big mistake.

Bewbs showing his trolling self, slut.

This is what happens when people deny reality and try to define WAR as something it is not. Changing a definition does not change reality. Innocent people die in war.

The Middle East has been in blood shed for much longer than the US has ever been a country. The question is, when do we stop spending money policing/rebuilding their countries, and start trying to help make ours better?? We all know that no one will ever use common sense and realize this in Washington, thus we will continue to see blood shed in countries where they don't like us from the get go.

You do realize that Afghanistan is not in the Middle East, right?

Did I try and advocate that in my post?? Nope, so stop trying to stir the damn pot.

The guy was obviously a head case, and this happened because of a break down in figuring that out. Normal sane people don't just go off and kill people for no reason, and this guy had to have psych problems for him to do it.

It definitely sucks for us to continue to get bad press in that region, but what sucks more is the murders that happen on our own soil that never make national news.

notice the swift action being taken by the US to bring this guy to justice and contrast it with the Karzai government's complete inaction regarding the deaths following the overreaction to the Koran burnings

there are those who want to say that we are no better than them

6 one, half dozen the other. It is, it isn't, but it's in that region, and it borders Iran.

Another product of our great public education system...

Interestingly, the part of Afghanistan that borders Iran is pretty stable and modern. That said, my point is there is a pretty sharp difference between people in the ME and Central Asia. Important to know the difference.

So then, what the hell does that have to do with some prick murdering children in Afghanistan? Last I checked, mass murder gets plenty of coverage in this country.
