UAW On Strike

Yep, I stand corrected. In all my years there I never travelled 72 all the way West except for football games. I have taken it east to S. Pittsburgh about a zillion times. Before it went 4 lane all the way Athens to Knoxville sucked.
No need to go west on alt 72 goes to Mississippi....lol
You take 72 west from athens carries you into killen...then florence

I think I have actually run Alt 72 into Florence a couple of times. I just don't ever remember purposefully travelling past Rogersville on 72 proper. And yes, I can't imagine having to travel into Decatur to work. It's like road construction skipped Decatur.

Agreed. Their interior is junk.

A new study came out a couple months ago and dodge was actually listed as the most unreliable truck on the market.

I worked for Chevy for 5 years. After seeing how they are built and some of the bs that is put in to their cars and trucks, I won’t own one

There’s a guy I try to keep up with. He retired from ford and bought a new crew cab, 4wd, F-350 that has the 7.3 Powerstroke
He went to hot shotting campers all over the US and Canada.
Last I heard he had 1.1 million miles on the original engine and associated running gear.
Still pulling like a freight train.

I am going Ford.
Every gym product I ever owned felll apart like a cheap suit. My fords actually held up well.

If I had the money, I’d go with a Tundra. Worse part about laying out the bucks for ford and GM is all the rust outs you will have at the bottom of the doors. Must be why ford went with AL bodies. Couldn’t figure out how not to make a rust bucket.

That’d be the dodge drawback.

But know a guy who RV’s with another two couples. One Ford, one GM Duramax. And his is a Dodge Cummins. He says on level ground the GM is the pack leader but when they hit the hills and climbs the ford and GM are no where to be seen in his rear view. I’m not a diesel head so I have no practical knowledge. That’s just one of those things I think a lot of people don’t need and waste their money on to have a “bad a@@ truck. $230 power stroke oil change for a truck I have no practical use for. No thanks.

I love my Tundra.

I’m trying to follow you here but, what?

Be a cold day in hell before I ever, I mean ever, get pulled by a dodge or Chevy.

And, it’s 100 bucks to change the oil on a power stroke. 150 of you do the fuel filters at the same time.

My friend says he's always out front in his Dodge/Cummins when they are pulling their RV's up the hills and mountains. His friends they RV with have a Ford Powerstroke and a GM Duramax. He says they can only keep up with him on level ground. Follow???????

My boss at the bowling alley where I work part time just got an F250 6.7 (used) King Ranch a few months ago. He just got his oil changed, probably fuel filters too. $220 (dealer). There is no "and it only costs this much." that's what he paid. Follow ???????? Maybe he'd like to go to your dealer or service person.
