I'm watching the first half right now (I only picked up the 2nd half live). Not sure what you're seeing with regards to Evina's playmaking and time with the ball. The ball was moving, and there were times where she'd have to signal to get the ball back because there was a breakdown. She had three perfect passes to Edwards that AE was waiting for, and she missed an open layup on one of them, she bobbled one of them that allowed the defense to converge on her, and then bobbled another one out of bounds. But all three of them were perfectly delivered. I know Evina is not popular here, but that first paragraph is not true. She only took like 6 shots through 3 quarters and was not looking for her shot until the last two minutes.
I do agree that she will struggle to make the WNBA, not because she isn't a good player, but because the WNBA is ruthlessly competitive and it's hard to make a roster. In fact, the only player on UConn's roster that is a likely lock for the W is Paige.
