Thanks for helping me understand that dissing the recruiting class of a team you haven't beaten in a decade, not taking into account potential attrition or having a true objective measure of how each class will finish up four years from now, is somehow less than logical.

Our record has NOTHING to do with your recruiting class and I am sick of you trolling us with it at every opportunity. This is VOLNATION and we have the right to discuss your recruiting class without you trolling us.

Don't you think it is when that is their only reply to anything we discuss ?

I think we all know how many times in a row Florida has beat us so how many times in 1 thread do we need them to remind us ? How many times in this thread has he already said the same thing ?

They think we are not allowed to discuss their bad recruiting class because they have beat us ?

It seems like clear trolling to me when they use it as an attempt to shut down any discussion about them.

Miami's primary issue is their administration really doesn't care about football relative to UF and FSU.

That said, history has shown that all three Florida schools can be nationally relevant at the same time.

Maybe they can all be relevant at the same time but the last time that happened was before 80% of the SEC schools were finishing in the top 25 of recruiting year after year.

I don't blame gator fans for coming here I've been to gator country, gatorbait, and gatorsports and not one of those sites are remotely as good as Volnation and nowhere near as active.

The last time all three Florida schools were nationally relevant, the primary factor was all three programs had elite coaches...Butch Davis, Bobby Bowden and Steve Spurrier.

You also did not have as many teams capable of going into Florida and snatching out some of your top 30-40 players it happens a lot more now than then just ask Clemson.

Agree 100%. This site is one of the best.

And even on GC there's posters like vols4evah who get their panties in a wad anytime a rival fan says something critical about UF...thinking the message board is one giant pep rally.

If you're suggesting programs like Clemson and others only recently began poaching Florida's high school talent, I would disagree with that.

Clemson's had a strong pipeline to Florida, specifically North Florida, dating back to the 1980s.

I personally like the banter here myself it will only get better once the VOLS get it completely turned around I'm sure a lot of these guys are like me just frustrated to the core with what has went on the last decade+ with our beloved VOLS.

I enjoy most all the gator posters. What I found odd however was that they were all on a Vol board actively posting on signing day.

How does that work? Multiple windows open so one could yuck it up with Florida fans on the homeboard then quickly to the Volunteer and Seminole board.

Seems exhausting to me.

Lawrence however is their best poster. Completely non biased and to the point.

I think that's just it...we don't know if their class was bad. That's to be determined. The "good" or "bad" is simply on paper based on a subjective grade doled out by some guy that obsesses over HS students.

The true value of a class can't be determined until 2-4 years down the road. Look at UT's '14 class. How would it rank now after 1 season. I would say Hurd performed like a 5* as did Barnett but I wouldn't rank Malone as a 5*. What about all the 4*'s that left?

The game isn't played on paper. There's a lot that will happen to these classes over the next 4 years. It seems that Butch is doing a great job "on paper" evaluating talent but let's see what happens on the scoreboard before we point fingers and laugh at our competition.
