Finebaum is wearing Florida fans out today...he's on the Vols jock. Said not many tennessee fans are concerned about playing the Gators next year.

Even when Florida only posted 4 wins, had one of their worst head coaches ever running things and got mud stomped by Georgia Southern 2 years ago, they still easily dominated Tennessee. If I were a Florida fan, I'd yawn when seeing UT on the schedule kinda like we do with Vandy....and we've lost 2 of 3 vs vandy, not won 10 in a row. Fun fact...even if we win the next 15 games vs Florida (bahahahaha!!)we'll still have a losing record vs Florida since 1976.

I made this claim earlier and UT fans became upset. This is not a relevant rivalry to UF fans in my opinion. Florida has owned us since we started playing them regularly. It has not even been close. This past game we played against them should have been a win for UT. Butch should put that loss on his shoulder...outcoached by Muschump! This is the worst UF team we have seen, since BEFORE Spurrier, and we still could not beat them. Terrible!

However, the poor recruiting at Florida is something I love to see. If McElwain can't right the talent ship soon, then UF will be in the pain cave. So much talent in that state, it should be easy as Sunday morning to pull some athletes into your program...but the Gators are not! We have never recruited so poorly. You guys are hosed this year and I love it. One bad class can set you back a lot...reality!

Gators can drop into the toilet as far as I am concerned. I have no love for them. I have no love for their crappy program. I hate them and I will always hate them.

Vol fans have no right to be cocky about the Gators...it's the most important game of the year in my books. Yes I hate Bama and they are our biggest rival traditionally. But Florida should be a concern every year. I don't get Finebaum at all, if that was his statement.

Share the same sentiments. I'm obviously salty as hell regarding our inability over the last 40 years to beat Florida, especially since '92 when they became our most important game every year. I get a lot of grief (most of it justified) for my negative attitude regarding our annual game vs Florida. But I'm exasperated at the utter futility we have displayed year after year, decade after decade to beat them. I don't care how bad their recruiting classes are, I will never expect or predict to beat Florida again until I've actually seen it happen multiple times in a row. I'm not holding my breath.

He was obviously trolling UT. Nobody in their right mind can honestly believe we go down to Gainesville and win this year.

Finebaum is a idiot. Tennessee hasn't beat the Gators in 10 years. Someone should remind the d--k with ears of that. Tennessee will have solidly out-recruited Florida for 2 straight years now. At some point in the near future you would think the streak will end. Next year is as good as any..

Vols have solidly outrecruited UF this cycle. Your 2014 class had 32 commits and ranked 7 overall by 247. UF was 8. Vols have lost a handful of those guys. If you take away those signees UF would jump UT.


Moving on. PF is a pompous know it all.

I believe that Gerald Willis was more highly touted than anyone that Tennessee has lost. The only consensus 4* that has left UT so far was Hendrix.

So, to the Florida fans, I don't really keep up with your recruiting but I hear it's pretty abyssmal this year. Any glimmers of hope, or is it going to be a total crapfest?

40 or so years of history maybe?? 6-23 since 1976. This year's class sucks but they're still a very talented team. They were as down as I've ever seen them the last 2 years.....and beat us both years. If we rattle off 8 or 9 in a row I might change my tune. Still, we have to win the next 17 straight to even up the series in this time period.

i dont care about the ranking but imo our class will look pretty similar to butch's first class i mean **** you only had five 4 stars thats not gonna be impossible to beat lol we might actually add a 5 star or two to go with a couple 4's also we def wont sign 24 so there is the quantity thing too

I'd take UT's 2014 class over UF's. We'll see were these two teams are next year at the Sewer. I like our chances, that's about all i've got to say about that.
