I thought I read where he may keep Addazio. Has this rumor been shot down?

Also, I heard that he is trying to get Frank Wilson to join him.

Some names making the rounds for new UF staff

Here are a few names to look for apparently. I'd love to see UF bring in Applewhite but dread seeing them with Holgerson. They would go back to Juggernaut status on offense with him.

DC-Kirby Smart-Bama DC
DC-Sal Sunseric-Bama LBs
DC-James Willis-TTU DC
DC-Manny Diaz-Miss St DC
DL-Bo Davis-Bama DL
DL-John Papuchis-Neb DEs/STs
DL-Shane Burnham-ISU DTs
DL-Oscar Giles-Texas DEs
OC-Major Applewhite-Texas RBs
OC-Chris Hatcher-Murray St HC
OL-Matt Moore-TTU OL
DBs-Travaris Robinson-TTU CBs

Great. Thanks for the update. I expect some announcements to be made at the presser on Tuesday.

ten fo.. neyland.. i've always wondered why fla didn't compliment their incredible recruiting advantage with an offense that prepares players for the nfl.. there is no good reason why they can't recruit three incredible running backs per year, a good pro style QB each year... a top five tight end and four wr's... their running back and qb production in the nfl has been horrible.. wr good but not great... if they implemented that style offense and started putting players on rosters their recruiting would be spectacular....

This years longhorn offense would be a good start.

Wow, didn't realize Major was the OC at Texas. All this time I thought it was Greg Davis, the guy who had been with Brown at Texas since 98.

I've always been led to believe that if you can recruit the SEC, they you can succeed in the SEC. I don't think it was any stretch of the imagination that Meyer was a recruiter first, coach second. The only total control he had over a piece of the coaching was special teams.

I think Foley understood this. Knowing this, I'm a little more hesitant to criticize the change. And it seems like CWM is attempting to put together a stellar corps of recruiters and coaches to make this something special.

Honestly, given the talent in Gainesville right now, it's going to be hard to do worse than 7-5 next year, even with a more difficult schedule. I'm pretty excited. Go Gators!

don't need a big time Dc with Muschamp as HC seems like a waste of money and a coaching spot....Give Dana that 750,000-1 mil to become OC at UF.
